I love Scorpios, they aren't too heavy for me, the issue is just that sometimes they are more emotionally expressive than I can keep up with. Then I don't want them to think I don't understand or don't empathize...just because I'm not mirroring their intensity. Capricorns can share a lot amongst ourselves because we don't pressure each other to emote. It's okay if you want to talk about some horrific thing that happened to you, in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. I'm not judging your coldness or telling you to see a therapist or fix the problem dammit. I know where you are coming from and that you are doing your best to fix it, already. IP: Logged |

Also, PS. I even love the most "surface" of the Gemini world... because I just love Gemini, even the negative things about them!...
But that doesn't mean I will always be very "open" with them.The person in question btw, has a Gemini Mars... although I've had similar things happen with my Gemini Moon&Mars friend.. and others. IP: Logged |

It was a big deal for me, because I never talked about anything. I was 21 when I finally admitted what was going on with me, and had been going for years (that I'd also been suicidal when I was 14/15) - she'd asked me why I didn't talk about what was going on in my life, and I was agoraphobic, embarrassed, and feeling like the weirdo who would drag my friends down. People always assumed that I was fine, and dealing with things. That was part of the problem. My own mother knew there were things going on, but she also assumed that I was dealing with them, when I was actually sinking. Capricorn is my 3rd house. I'll delete this later. IP: Logged |

All good!  I worked so hard to crawl out of the depth. For me personally it was so overwhelming, uncontrolled, and disruptive to my life. I could barely even function properly.
It's turned into something that I really try to avoid.
This is a little off topic but I remember having a relationship with a Pisces sun/Venus and they'd get quite frustrated about it. They KNEW that a deeper side existed but that I shut it down. They'd get that part out of me but really had to work hard, almost begging in order to get it. IP: Logged |

I understand. 'Just clarified my experiences, relative to Selenite's joke (?) that Scorpio is too heavy for Cap. All the signs go through tragedy and have our ways of communicating about them. Gemini is capable of depth as much as anyone...it's just a matter of getting communication styles to mesh. Sometimes that takes time and effort that neither party wants to invest. ETA: Actually after my father died it was a Gemini minister who said the exact right thing to make me feel better. Well...they're good with words. taurus, virgo and scorpios, imo, once you get their loyalty which can be really really difficult but once you get it, they're some ride or die ************* and so are capricorns too so i like themIP: Logged |

Although Gemini might not provide the comfort a Capricorn needs - which is actually pretty similar to Cancers - they do have a hell of a good rapport as far as humor goes. They are two signs most likely to live in their heads and what was supposed to be a venting process can turn into a hilarious, friendly battle of sarcasm.IP: Logged |

hahhahahaha I could totally seeee that! I have one Cap friend, we haven't hanged in a long time and that is totally on me. I tend socially isolate not her. Anyways I don't pressure her ever to tell me stuff. I kind of just talk about stuff I feel ok talking about that is personal and then she opens up as well. Like I can tell our husbands are similar a lot personality wise, the good and the bad, so I use humor about it and create an environment that is a positive outlet for us to talk about. IP: Logged |
