Hello all,My Rising sign is Aquarius. Usually, when I read my horoscopes for the day, week, month and so on, I read for rising sign, because it seems to be the most accurate. The weird part is, when I was reading my horoscopes for 2016 the same placements I have right now In my transit charts are the same placements for Pisces. Now when I read the Pisces horoscope it rings more true to what's going on in personal life. It's quite interesting. Now I am starting to think that maybe I am a Pisces rising after all! Has anyone else experienced something like this??? Thank you ❤ IP: Logged |

You should definitely look into natal chart rectification! Very interesting stuff that I think would be of benefit here.IP: Logged |

No, not at all.I thought I was an Aquarius ASC for the longest time because I was going off one copy of my birth certificate I had received. It turns out that the original copy listed my birth as an hour earlier. My mother was also able to confirm that the time listed on the original copy was correct. So I'm actually a Pisces ASC and not Aquarius. It changed the placement of a few of my planets, but once I saw the changes they were big 'ah-ha' moments because there were pieces that just didn't fit before. The adjustments to the transits also make a lot of sense to me. I think it's pretty common for people to question their ASC. Maybe see if you can get your chart rectified, or at least double-check your birth time, if you can. IP: Logged |

I found a site online that had a free rectification calculator, and it said 2:31 instead of 2:26, my original birth time. But I still feel something is a bit off because of the accurate placements in the Pisces horoscope instead of the aquarius one.

Horoscopes use the whole house system. I'm an Aquarius rising and I notice this too, but it's because my 1st house goes from 18* Aquarius to 29* Pisces. When I read Aquarius horoscopes it treats all of Pisces as my 2nd house, all of Aries as my 3rd, and so on. Since they use the whole house system, the houses are all off. Horoscopes are more accurate for me when I read Pisces because it describes what houses the current transits are in. This may be the case for you too, depending on where your house cusps fall.IP: Logged |
