I've done work for Caps before, though I have freedom to do the job my own way. I provide the item or service and they pay me as I do, but I don't get a wage for it, it's strictly by the specific job that I can refuse. And Capricorns have always been honorable to me in that, and letting me do the job my own way while he pursued other matters. In short, they say what they want, and I decide how to make it happen (each time the price is negotiated case by case, thankfully I usually have a pretty good idea on how to go about it right away so that I have a pretty good idea at my own expenses, and if not then I might negotiate something about reimbursements, and I don't begrudge those who put strict conditions on that, and after awhile they start to trust me and thus give me more rope which I'm careful not to hang myself with.) Though there is one Cap I provide services for who makes me laugh (which I hide from him) and that some might consider exasperating. He has some very strong ideas about how things should be (given his respect for traditions I'd equate him more with a Taurus, and maybe I should look up his chart to see if there is any, but he's like more than one Capricorn in enjoying antiques and antiquities) that I find it easiest to just play along with rather than actually share my thoughts as these are burning issues for him (even if he believes that society would become dissolute if people stopped caring about the Olympics and therefore people who don't tune in are committing a terrible crime, as just one example). He's also the one who was talking business with me on the phone (and HE called me, not the other way around) when I heard a toilet flush on his end...and I resisted the urge to remind him to wash up. But as someone who contracts me for services, he's easy to work for, personality quirks aside. IP: Logged |

Although Aries can get through a task better than others, their one directional energy and quickness to anger doesn't make a good leader. People dont usually work for the job--they work for other people. A Sagittarius has everything it takes. They bring livlineness to the work place, keep an upbeat attitude, and at their most evolved can judge fairly. Their competitive, overachiever tendencies usually keep them at the top of the ranks, and they expect everyone else to keep pace. Since they're the teachers of the zodiac, they're skilled when it comes to training as well.Capricorns are great at planning and extremely methodical and they exude a powerful essence that demands respect. Thats why I consider them more the "boss" type.
I agree with this. The Leader is the idea person; Jupiter/Sag. The Boss is the executive; Aries/Cap. IP: Logged |

I think I am a bit of a boss and I only have Mars/Moon in Aries lol. I have an idea and I want it executed lol. Let's think of a plan and stick to it (Virgo MC takes over after that). But, Aries definitely plays a part (imo). I can imagine Capricorns exude bossiness sometimes too - well I know my mum does lol.IP: Logged |

I agree with Hadesfish to a great extent . I think leader and boss are two sides of the same coin. They may manifest in the same person under different circumstances. Moreover I think a good leader should have a balance between both. A leader should know how to command when it's needed and a boss should know how to motivate their people.I also believe that all of us have the potential to develop both roles in different areas of our life. There's always a field in which you will feel comfortable enough to be the leader (hobbies, friends, family...), and sometimes, given the necessity, you have to be a boss too. That's what happens to me at work. I'm a teacher and inside your classroom you can't have a minute for yourself. It would be amazing to just disappear and work in the shadows (NN in 12th house in Pisces..), but with kids it doesn't work that way. There is only one option: you must learn to lead and you must make sure that your voice is listened to. They expect you to do so. Even if you never were interested in being a leader, sometimes life pushes you into situations in which you have to develop in ways you would have never thought of. Sometimes it's hard too, considering I was never interested in being in charge, as I find it very stressing, and I'm one who would enjoy silent reflection and saving all her energy for her personal projects. I'd say I'm more of a follower than a leader, but that wouldn't be true, because I would only follow if I was convinced that it was worth it. One thing Hadesfish said and I really agree with him, is that we must choose carefully the role we play, for it might affect considerably the people we deal with. Whichever role you play, you must do it in a responsible way. I imagine myself from the point of view of a student willing to connect with her teachers, and the only ones I disrespected and obviously didn't follow spiritually were those who always acted foolish, like they didn't even know how to lead. quote: Originally posted by HadesFish: This a great question!I've come to understand it's hard to be both. Providing there is a following, anyone can be either one. I also believe they are inter related and if you have a bad impression of either one, a leader will turn into a boss and vice Versa. Personally I can say I lead and boss of myself all the time. It wasn't always like this, and I can only define I chose my own path and the affects were I thought I was a leader sometimes and a boss at other times, probably while being a slave also. I didn't realize the impact I may have had. Once I did, I take the cards that are dealt, so to say... All I can say is be careful when you take on any role with people, regardless how minuscule they might seem, even if role is placed in you its for a reason, and you are responsible. Sooo.... To be either one to me is to simply be aware of your actions and responsibilities. If you go about searching for this... I wish you well. If its placed on you, I wish you even better. I also don't know a soul that at one time or another hasn't been in such a position in one way or another. I don't mind following somone who I can learn from, but if I only un learn from them they will never lead or boss me, regardless of what it is - I've risked that... Can you?(hypothetically). The pics posted to me represent no color in sense that they both are willingly working together. This is neither my idea of a leader or a boss, in sense of pics. I would never pull that nor would I ever want someone to pull that weight either.... After that still what if they encountered enemies representing this..whether animal or people. That is the true test. No way can the pusher or throne sitter ever get back to life after real life has happened. Oh, and astrologically I find Mercury and rising have a great deal to do with even getting to this point.
By the way I'm a Virgo. Not sure what else to tell astrologically. IP: Logged | |
