I'm curious if the transit of a planet through a house will get more intense as it gets to the end of the house. I personally do believe that if a planet is in the final degrees of a sign, it is most intense.

I don't think so either. When the Moon is at the end of a sign and makes no more aspects in the Natal it is called void of course.

When a planet is at the end it has all the previous degrees behind it as in experience while it's outlook ahead is in the following sign.

this is why planets at 28 or 29 degrees appear to share traits of the following sign.
