K, I'm sorry but I do not like Adam Driver as Kylo Ren in the new Star Wars.I feel that the First Order (dark side) is a combination of Pluto and Saturn. Driver, playing Darth Vader's grandson, is a Scorpio sun, which is fine, but his Saturn is virtually unaspected, save for a semisextile to Mercury-Uranus in happy go lucky Sagittarius which basically defeats the purpose. No usable Saturn, in other words. Does anyone else see what I mean? What casting "errors" have bothered you? IP: Logged |

I thought Driver was fine in the role. The chart you linked doesn't show his rising sign (time of birth unknown), so imo you're missing vital information on him anyway. With Saturn at 9 degree Scorpio and Pluto at 0 degree Scorpio, he could be Scorpio rising at 5 degree and have Saturn and Pluto conjunct the ascendant for all we know. Or he could have Saturn or Pluto conjunct the ascendant. Again, without knowing his time of bith, we're missing vital info. ~sorry, I edited this post 5 times. IP: Logged |

Fair enough I still think, more potent Saturn contacts or a Cap planet...just one?...is not too much to ask for. IP: Logged |

He could be Scorpio rising with Saturn conjunct his ascendant. Would that be potent enough for you?

If an actor is a GOOD actor, should it make a lot of difference. The best actors do all sorts of rolls and do it well. Of course saying that I must admit I have not seen the movie and it is not on my to do list.------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

I dunno, I get too distracted by the people's actual energy and placements and find it hard to believe in the characters, many times.*So I like to see Caps play the villains because it's believable Love to my fellow Caps. Belage, I KNOW he doesn't have Saturn-ASC & Scorpio rising. He just can't...... *ETA: Which is why I hardly ever watch movies. IP: Logged |

Heath Ledger who played the Dark Knight doesn't have Capp placements except for his MC in Capp. He has Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Libra. He is Aries rising with Sun conjunct ascendant and Mars in Pisces. http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Heath_Ledger#hbiographie I do agree that most actors need to have some astrological elements of the characters they portrayed. I would love to study the charts of exceptional actors who seem to be able to play everything.

Was he a good Dark Knight or bad Dark Knight? I never saw the movie.I think people get typecast pretty much in line with their placements, usually? I mean...Julia Roberts just seems like herself in every single movie. To give a classic example. I'm trying to think of an actor who is truly versatile.... Maybe Kevin Spacey... http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Kevin_Spacey Minor triangle with Scorpio Neptune at the apex, sextile Virgo Mars-Pluto and Cap Saturn. His moon could be in Taurus, catching all that, while forming a kite. IP: Logged |

I just saw the previews but read 2 of the books--Shades of Grey. The actor who played him was soooooooooo unappealing. Like my friend says, "I wouldn't date a guy who is prettier than I am" Applies in this case ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? He is NOT pretty, as I mean it, Faith.
He is amazingly gorgeous, in a totally masculine way imo I could go on and on about him Do you know that he got with his co star from Wuthering Heights, the one who played Kathy.

^^ Oh I'm glad you know what I mean. I don't mean to sound hypercritical it's just....if it's not convincing, what can I say? @Ami Wuthering Heights was amazing, their on-screen chemistry was great Because they were actually falling in love there. *sniffle* Tom Hardy has a pretty face but a masculine physique and demeanor. Well he can be gentle/romantic (Mars conjunct Jupiter in Cancer) and tough as nails (Mars square Pluto in Libra; moon possibly conjunct Pluto; Venus conjunct Saturn.) http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Tom_Hardy God did you see him in Warrior? He's a good actor. Unlike many who I think are probably nice people, good looking and smart, but just can't pull off a role. IP: Logged |

REALLY?? I refused to watch it, because I love the book so much (and film adaptations are almost always a bitter disappointment for me). Well, I might have to watch it now. IP: Logged |

Yup I'll just keep talking.Russell Crow as Javert in Les Mis. Sympathetic 12H moon and Neptune near the MC, for a steely, cold-hearted, psycho prison warden? Nahhh they shouldn't have. IP: Logged |

@VioletsWuthering Heights wasn't perfect but I felt like their chemistry was believable. Like there is one scene early on and it felt like being a voyeur to me because it seemed so real. Now THAT is good, if you feel creepy for watching and invading their personal space. Kidding Free on YouTube: Part One Part Two Her Cap sun forms a t-square with his Mars and Pluto. The synastry kinda fits the plot line. IP: Logged |

I agree with you. Did no one see Daredevil, anyway? He can't be both Daredevil and Batman. It's just wrong. IP: Logged |
