I tend to look at what the aspect will mean holistically in my chart 1st .Thereafter the effect it has on the 8th will be clearer.
Pluto conjunct Sun is a growth aspect. One that has the similarities of one "shedding" old skin to embrace the new "self".
Saturn(structure) rules your Sun. So there is something that you have come to depend on for clarity, direction etc that will change, crumble or will need to be revamped.
In my case, the Uranus transit is square Mercury exact. Throughout the past two years, I have had to adjust the way I think/perceive things and accept that I can look/make like an idiot.
Uranus throws a lot of surprises to my rigid, controlled Saturn ruled Mercury(Cap) and its been tough!
The conjunction of Pluto to your Sun may bring on the absolute "you are going with me and not staying behind" feeling. Similar to Uranus, but longer-lasting and thorough.
If the Saturn ruled Sun is in the 8th, you probably already have some reservations and fears around mortality, money, interest rates, taxes, financial responsibilities and the like.
The conjunction of Pluto will serve to heighten these fears exponentially. If you do not find a tangible way to deal with them.
It may result in you being emotional, sensitive, paranoid and fearful. Because underneath , the layers of your psychological make-up(Saturn) are being washed by probing Pluto.
So the stoic Cap nature is likely to crumble and be more emotional right now. At other times defensive. But rarely indifferent.
This is further emphasized by the aspect to Moon-ruled Mars(which I assume is in Cancer).
Your sense of safety and security(Moon) will be challenged. And what you held dearly may be lost for something else.
Emotions may be heightened once again. And if you have an unemotional Moon sign i.e Aquarius, Gemini to contend with all these changes intellectually. Perhaps seeing a shrink may prove effective?
Good Luck buddy!
