It's like going to the prom only to have your old man hovering and smothering you and your date and sitting a table away at dinner with a notepad and pencil to keep track of how much you're spending and how many times you try to put your arm around your date, so he can talk to you about that later because you know, if you don't plan on marrying after the prom then no wooing or getting too fresh with your date. He thinks you get that from your mother anyway. IP: Logged |

It sucks even more when Venus/Saturn is part of your natal chart IP: Logged |

Transit Saturn conj my Venus was actually good to me... My Venus is in my 5th, ruler of the 5th. It was my last semester of my photography degree... it gave me the endurance and focus to get through the semester (it was a lot of work... 7 classes- all of them were photography except one which was web design, so I was cranking out a lot of creative work. I can't tell you how many all nighters I did. edit: I have Saturn and Venus in aspect to each other in my natal chart (with Saturn squaring my chart ruler, sun and trine my Moon). IP: Logged |

Going through the square right now. Just lost a friend I've had for almost 14 years. That was tough. And to top that off, my body is changing (pregnancy) :/ IP: Logged |

Oh, I've lived with "The Chaperone" across my Venus in the House of Entertainment, Play, and Romance. .... She doesn't get out much?, and has been afraid to Dream (H11) but when she dare-does, she makes the trip worth her while! *sigh*{{Congrats, Bananaz!!! }} IP: Logged |

Yay mine is coming at the end of the year (Dec) and I keep wondering what it's going to be like, as in, how awful it's in the 12th house conjunct my POF/Karma asteroid IP: Logged |

Going through the Saturn square Venus transit now - I do not have Saturn in harsh aspect in my chart so its energy feels very very heavy. My grandpa died yesterday - what's really odd is when I saw that Saturn was going to start squaring venus and mars now I actually wondered if I would lose a father figure. Granted that wasn't romantic love but Venus/mars are conj. in my 1H so identity has shifted big time. IP: Logged |

You must have Venus in Sagittarius . Right? According to futureminders.com ; Your freedom may seem restricted during this period, especially if you are used to having things your way. Although circumstances sometimes hold you back, they may also help you to focus on those areas in your life that you can expand effectively and those that you cannot. While your movement often is limited during this cycle, it can become more purposeful. Wherever you are overcommitted or beyond your reach, this cycle can return you to a more realistic and manageable set of conditions. The time is appropriate to establish your priorities, especially a direction that you wish to travel. The steps you take now toward that end can help define your progress for several years. Ditto!! I haven't minded Saturn near my Venus... I have felt more reasonable. But then, Saturn rules my sun, so the energy feels "right." Hang in there cchampliss2, it won't last long and then you can date everyone without limitation again IP: Logged |

But is it worse than the Pluto square Venus transit? I had that one for almost two years. Although.. I don't know. I don't feel transits much. Or at least I don't pay attention to them. I didn't even realize or notice when it was over. But in the beginning when I realized I was going through it I was freaking out and thinking that my love life would be doomed. PS- Sorry to hear that Cappi! IP: Logged |

Faith. Thanks. How did you know? I would have you know that this transit is happening not long after Jupiter rolled through my 5th house. Mm hmm. IP: Logged |

That is exactly what is happening to me at the moment. It's helping me to focus on work especially but it really is an all work and no play type of feeling. Where the people I come across for my work are either disenchanted old, crusty dudes or very successful old, crusty dudes. There isn't a lovely, deep soul that I have come across yet. And I'm a Cap sun so the energy usually never bothers me much, but I've always enjoyed my Sag venus to pull me away from long, grueling work days. IP: Logged |

But do you know what sucks more?Having it in synastry with someone - at the same time of the transit... and also opposite Chiron. oh yeah! IP: Logged |

OH no you didn't. You know it's funny that you mention that in synaptic, because ever since mercury went retrograde, someone I was casually involved with in the past, came back into my life recently, and we have this in synastry but we have the square in composite. Coincidence? IP: Logged |

Laugh now Faith but when Jupiter rolls through my 7th house a month after this transit ends, I'm putting my dancing shoes back on and writing home about it! IP: Logged |
