do you look at them with the natal chart or just the chart alone?

say i have mars square venus...does that mean i'm going to be dealing with that energy the whole year?

do all aspects count? or mainly conjunctions

etc....

i want to read mine and don't really know where to begin

Natal planets in Solar return houses and
SR planets in natal Houses,
First off are what planets are angular. houses 1.4.7.10 ,then of course aspects made by or to those from either set/chart and houses they rule.
I view all aspects

ok couple more questions...

in the solar return chart i have 3 planets in my third house

however if i were to line it up with my natal chart they would be in my 12th house

so which one is it?

also what is a progressed chart .... is it fixed or does it show how the year will unfold?

meaning say i have venus square mars...am i going to be dealing with that all year....or just near the begining of my birthday?

if it's not fixed, how do i follow along through out the year?
