Hello!^^
Recently i've been looking at my future progressions of venus and since my natal venus is quite far away from the sun soon will be turning Rx (in about 4 years to be exact). I was wondering about how it will affect me. I already have trouble connecting with my weak venus in 21o capricorn with no major aspects in 5th house stellium with saturn, uranus and neptune.. I was also wondering whether in the case i was born during the pre-shadow fase of Venus Rx (which if i calculate correctly prob I was- Venus Rx in Aquarius 1990 i was born End of Nov), how will it manifest when it actually turns retrograde.

Hey ant23 - welcome to Lindaland!Recently I had prog Mercury turn retro. I don't have experience with Venus Rx, I will probably not have it in my lifetime even though she is ahead of the Sun as well. However, I decided to answer because Mercury rules my progressed DC, so there is a little bit of similarity. In my natal chart it rules the 5th and the 8th. These are all matters I've been thinking about lately (love, relationships, sex). Actually, I would say this retrograde is not bad at all. I've been getting a lot of insights - true, about my past, but you can't forge your future if you don't understand your past - a lot of puzzle pieces coming together. Also, I'd also say I am relieved Merc turned Rx because he was heading straight for Algol (it was, like, 1 degree away!), so you could say I dodged that bullet and get to keep my head. Right, so in the romance department I have decided what I thought I would never decide: renounce the idea of marriage. The retro is happening in Taurus, mind you, my Venus is also there and these are serious matters to me. But now it seems like I am going to look at them from a less committal perspective. All in all, it's not bad at all. It depends on the houses Venus rules and the aspects it will make while going retro. It is, however, nothing to worry about. I found it quite a liberating experience, because I released some stuff from the past. Kate Middleton is a famous case of prog Venus turning Rx. Astrologers say that is the reason why her marriage will last, because it will keep making the trine to William's Venus. So it is likely that the relationships you're in right now to last a while. It definitely helps a lot as natal mercury will follow my venus path and turn Rx a couple of years after her so spot on ! My concern for venus is that it will be my progressed ruler too since progressed ascendant is in libra..and unfortunately my love life has been very dry for a very long time (7+ years).Venus in capricorn unaspected hasn't been of a great help with that haha

It will most definitely turn your love life around - literally! lol On a serious note, you're likely to shift your views on romance and dating, as well as your physical aspect since it rules Asc. I can't tell you how those views will change, because mine were unpredictable also, but don't fear the change, it's good for you!My Venus is unaspected too, it sucks. Fortunately in progressions she's a very active little bee. Now applying to trine Pluto and I can't wait for that sweet dark goodness to come already. It also applies to oppose Neptune, so hopefully it won't ALL be in my head.  IP: Logged |
