Would anyone like to help me determine if there are any astrological influences as to why I just had boiling water explode on me, giving 2nd degree burns to my arm and face.

I will spare you all of photos, unless you wanna see...

My birthday is March 1, 1991 4:00 pm San Diego, CA

Did you notice the time when it exploded?

The event chart will probably tell you something.

Hope you heal up well.

Mars and/or Uranus is usually present when most accidents have burns, fire, explosions qualities.

Also sometimes semi-squares or semi-sextiles

It was around 9 am California time. 😓

I was half asleep trying to blend my matcha tea in the blender, I accidentally hit the switch and it got boiling water on my face and arm

At 9 am this morning in San Diego:

*Transiting Chiron 18.30 Pisces
Transiting Ascendant 19.53 Pisces

Speaks for itself

*Transiting Uranus 16 Aries, in the 1H
Squaring your natal Neptune @ 16 Cap, conjunct tr Pluto-Mercury

So, Pluto-Mercury on your Neptune was making you not think straight. Then obvious, Mars-ruled transiting Uranus in the first house punished your for it.

Transiting moon at 6 Virgo in the 6H may have been conjunct your natal moon but I didn't pull up your full chart. I pulled up the event chart and made your birthday, the transits.

Can we boot this guy if he's just going to patronize everyone?

He's already called me a "prick", someone else a "faggot", and two or three other instances. How much do we need to tolerate?

Yeah, I'll send a link to this thread to Randall and let him decide what to do on it, especially as I see Paul has been like this in other threads as well since I was last here.

Scary. Hope it was just a few spots rather than a large area and that you make a full recovery.

Well... yes. I was just curious if anything popped out. Many factors play into it, in my opinion... and astrological influences could very well be one of them.. Especially cause I was kinda in a haze and not meditating / exercising my free will like I could/should have been!

now, would there be any longer transits that would trigger injuries to the hands? cut my other hand a few days ago and sliced my finger pretty badly with a veggie peeler tonight

^^ It's not astrology related but I read somewhere else that cutting yourself accidentally is due to suppressed/repressed anger which I have found true for myself. It seems almost whenever I cut myself I am distracted thinking about something I'm mad at or something negative in general..

Oh, I definitely notice this, especially when I'm driving. I always make silly driving errors (like scratching a pole) when I'm mad...

It's just odd because I've really upped my meditation practice, doing about 40 minutes a day now... it seems to have coincided with me delving into that again, which makes no sense! I would think if anything I would be MORE aware and less likely to hurt myself! But who knows, maybe the meditation has prevented worse accidents... and these are just the little karmic blunders I am left with. It is just ODD, as I never get hurt and I now have two hands covered in bandages lol

A few years ago, I was going through some difficult personal issues while talking to a Reiki healer...I kept burning my hands as I fed the firestove, something I don't usually do...and the healer said this was common with spiritual growth.

It may be part of an initiation to shamanism or run parallel to that, in a loose way:
http://www.shamanicuniverse.com/shamanic-initiation.html

Quote:

quote:
In modern times, the spirits are finding creative ways to reach us and awaken us to our callings to the path with heart. Books like The Way of the Shaman® fall into our hands, poems stir the deep soul memory of something larger that is missing from our lives. Even shamanic films on YouTube may carry us to the river beneath the river of our lives, reminding our souls of their greater purpose. (http://www.youtube.com/shamanicstudies)

Other “wake-up” calls may come to us involuntarily, tearing the fabric of daily life. Accidents, illness, loss, and misfortune can all have a spiritual dimension to them. The loss of a career, a serious illness, a near-death experience or the death of someone close may all serve as turning points for rethinking the purpose and meaning of our lives. Feelings of disconnection, disorientation and suffering often accompany the inner call to a spiritual path.

These emotionally challenging, sometimes life-threatening crises are similar to the calls that indigenous shamans receive. They may be the beginning of the initiatory process.

If you are meditating a lot and having these experiences more frequently, it could be to deepen or expand your meditation and shape your perception of things.
