Please, tell me your experiences with it. I have seen it as favorable but people tell me it makes for a kind of "curse". Thanks for any comments, in advance!------------------

For me the South Node represents connections and things we know is bad for us but is sometimes hard to resist.
A guy I know has his Venus and Mars on my South Node and I have strong feelings for him but every time I am with him I feel like I am going backwards and it will never go forward with him. Like I am meant to evolve past him and the feeling causes pain.
And my Pluto is exact conjunct his South Node so I can imagine how that feels for him.

Uh I'm not so good with Vertex still, but it conjuncts my South Node in Gemini in 8th house.I've read in some other post, it can indicate people in my closer circle, very similar to me, I will bring them into my life. I haven't found any similar person to me still, at least not in real life, but through internet, but I have strong need to have them near me, so I hope I will. One other aspect but synastry aspect is someone's Mercury in my 8th house, conjunct my South Node, I have a feeling like I knew this person before, and I can talk with him like forever, about anything and very similar interests we have. Yes, I had my venus conj a guy's SN, exact. Man, was I connected to him!------------------
