I've heard this term and I know it means conjuntion in astronomy, but does it mean the same in astrology? Wouldn't people just say syzygy instead of conjunction?

Anyone? This is the weirdest word ever and I have to know if it means conjunction in astrology haha. Fun fact if you're an X-Files fan like me: Season 3 Episode 13 was titled "Syzygy" and loosely touched on natal astrology, but used conjunction instead of syzygy to describe an alignment of planets; this is why I'm inclined to believe syzygy is some fancy synonym for conjunction or some astronomical and NOT astrological term.

Simply a conjunction with MORE than 2 objects close enough that the energies are forced into synergy.
