I really need to know if this is dangerous. In natal chart, Venus rules 6th house, Saturn rules 8th house. Transiting Venus will soon conjunct natal Saturn in 8th house. This transit is short because Venus moves fast but is it life-threatening? What do you think? Please let me know. Traveling to a country where there is now flu epidemic, there are cases of swine flu when people died, many are in hospitals. I am supposed to travel tomorrow. Should I cancel the travel? Your advice is Much appreciated. Thank you! IP: Logged |

Tr Venus could never be indicative of a life threatening situation (unless coupled with other heavy-weight transits - and even then "lifethreatening situation" could also manifest in different ways, and not be dangerous at all). Anyway if you are worried because of the circumstances in the country, then don`t go there. But the transit alone is not alarming. IP: Logged |

Ceridwen,Thank you so much for your reply! I was actually going to ask for your advice specifically, LeeLoo, Faith or other knowledgeable forum members so glad you responded. I'm just very worried about this transit, it's for my mother. But it's a minor planet to major, not the other way round so it's not that bad. Uranus, Pluto, Saturn and Neptune are all ok. There's Uranus and Pluto opposition to Mercury, 4-5 degrees applying but it's still far and Mercury is easier planet to receive difficult transits. IP: Logged |

Doesn`t sound problematic to me! Well, I avoided flying like the plaague and had not stepped into a plane since 1998 I think, but when my family wanted to make a trip to Cornwall last year I had to conquer that fear. And it was one week after that horrible thing happened, where the co-pilot was letting a plane crash in France and killing so many people. ONe week after that our flight was scheduled, and it was with the same flight-company.
Yeah trying to be rational about it was not easy. And my transits looked like that:
Tr NN conjunct Pluto exact Tr Saturn conjunct Mars exact Tr Pluto opposing 8th house Saturn (1,5 a) Tr Neptune square ASC Tr Uranus square 8th house Saturn exact plus
Tr Mercury conjunct IC Tr Sun opposite Pluto Tr Mars opposite Uranus Tr Venus squrae MOon Tr Moon opposite Jupiter, square Neptune Well, as you probably can see by me posting here, I was absolutely fine. And I was having some doozies in the transits right there. IP: Logged |

Yeahhh, crazy huh? All transits to 8th house Saturn just seem so scary + your Tr Mars opposite Uranus, I would be worried about that one for sure. You know, I sometimes feel like a hostage when it comes to negative transits Afraid to miss something bad that can potentially be averted. That kind of feeling. Did you enjoy Cornwall? I have been there too, we drove down the coast of the peninsula, Plymouth - St Ives - Tintagel, most of Cornwall in 5 days. Just wish the summers were hotter, you do feel you're still in the UK even when you're surrounded by beaches and water and the sun is shining.

You're funny, made me laugh You are knowledgeable too! Well ok, maybe one cannot be good at everything. Anyways, I haven't smiled once today but this is my smile before going to bed. Really wanted to travel for holiday but I'm not going to now because of this flu, too much of a risk. Just upset because I was so looking forward to this trip oh well, life.. IP: Logged |
