Is there any way to figure out what lessons you will learn from that particular person through astrology?

Hmm...

I knew a girl in college, we didn't click, then reconnected online during my Saturn return...which was also her Saturn return, a few months after mine.

We didn't feel like we had anything in common when we first met (almost ten years before that Saturn return). Then I learned that she had written a book about some hardships she had endured, her email was in the alumni magazine, so I wrote to say Congratulations on the book, and we bonded over hardship. My father was dying and she had recently gotten divorced, amongst other things. Now, she is a professional counselor (she wasn't then) and she regards me as somewhat of an amateur counselor, because I'm open to hearing about everything (she has said this several times, I'm not just flattering myself.)

Interestingly, the transiting nodes when we reconnected, during our Saturn returns, were in Pisces-Virgo, the sign of my moon and her moon. So perhaps that's a clue about what kind of people you will interact with.

Also her sun is natally conjunct Saturn, and I'm a Capricorn...fitting for two Saturn types to converge during a Saturn return, I suppose.

Lessons being learned: grace under pressure...happiness during adversity...putting things in context, including astrological context.

Please don't quote.

Faith I'm still learning about astrology so I don't really know about the transiting nodes. I see why people say it's so important to have a birth time for both people though. Without that I really don't think you can do accurate charts without having both times for both people. It seems like important things are missing without it. Like how you said at one time you and the other person didn't click at first. Then at a different time the two of you did. That's why I'm thinking it's just hard to tell about compatibility with only knowing the persons year and date of birth but not the accurate time.

Thank you for sharing your experience I think I may have started my Saturn Return and I feel like I'm changing. It's confusing like for example I don't feel the same way I use to about my childhood friends. I stopped talking to one completely and the other one she and I kind of fell out. I'm more interested in meeting new people and want to experience new things. I read that some people said they do sometimes lose friends at this time but that it's possible they may start new friendships. Then I'll be going back to school in a few days so that's something new for me. So then sometimes I think maybe this situation with the guy I've been talking about on the board has to do with my Saturn Return. I'm 28 and I'll be 29 this April and it does feel like mines has already started.
