I was starting junior high at that time, so it's hard for me to know what was the transit, and what was just being an awkward 11 year-old.

I had this back in the beginning 2000's...My Venus in in Scorpio... 5th house...

At the beginning of it (I think it lasted 18-24 months for me I don't remember) I was dating two men and made the choice to become serious with one of them... I thought we were going to get married (I was picking the more responsible one). Also, I had a sinus surgery where the doctor hit a nerve in my face and left my face numb. How that relates to Tr Neptune squ Venus is b/c I was a professional musician at the time and it ended my career (I had Tr Pluto conj Sun, Prog ASC squ Pluto at this time too). At the end of this transit the guy I "choose" broke up with me out of nowhere (he was going through a Transit Saturn conj Sun) and to this day he still will not talk to me. I was just blown away. I was fine not being in a romantic relationship with him but he ended our friendship... that's what hurt me. At that moment I realized I picked the wrong guy... and the other guy just got married (and he was still in love with me and got married to another women). I was way past brokenhearted. If I think about it too much I will start crying.

I relate to some of that, but honestly, because Saturn is in Sag, I am LESS dreamy than usual and miss my old self.

I have suffered with trying to clarify my values, trying to maintain an interest in mundane life.

You & I both have Pisces moons so maybe that helps us get through this.

My Venus is in the 5H and I've suffered with genuine confusion about how to raise my kids.

Do I sign them up for more sports?
Sports are so violent.

Do I take them to church?
Church can be so negative and my daughter is afraid of hell.

Should we travel more?
But isn't that just self-indulgent and expensive?

Push academics harder?
What for??? It's all pointless busy work.

I am more fearful in regards to my relationship - my boyfriend will be going through a positive venus transit at the same time I'm going through a semi negative venus transit... I don't have the best of luck in LTR's as it is - this one has managed to last for 8 years with enough commitment to keep us relatively happy and living together but not enough commitment to produce marriage (I guess I'm always a bit afraid one day he will decide he is over it).

I had Neptune in Aquarius squaring my Venus in Scorpio in college and I was dating and expressing my sexuality(Venus)like crazy.

I fell in-love, out of love, experienced heart break, broke hearts and still managed to get my act together to graduate....Thank goodness!!

It was also the years when I started drinking(Neptune) as part of my social life(Venus).

Neptune on Venus tends to relax(Neptune) your value system(Venus).

Glad if I could help put you at ease.

I am checking an ephemeris to see what the rest of your transits look like, when this square is exact.

If I'm seeing the minute correctly, your Venus is at 11.34 Sag, so the first week of May has the most precise square. However, tr Neptune will square your Venus by degree from April 12 - May 31.

During that first week of May, Mercury is RX in third decan Taurus, Venus is just entering and transiting first decan Taurus, Mars is around 7 Sag, Jupiter is at 13 Virgo Rx, Saturn is at 15 Sag, NN 20 Virgo, BML third decan Libra.

So, Mercury Rx will not have opposed your Neptune yet, that doesn't happen until June. Venus will be opposing your sun, not such a huge issue...Mars near your Venus could energize you, anyway. Jupiter will be near your boyfriend's Jupiter, trine tr Pluto which falls in his first house, so that's good. What I like most of all is the NN on your MC, I feel like this will be a good time for you. People may feel that you represent, through your public action (MC) what we are collectively striving for (transiting NN).

Also, with tr Neptune trine your boyfriend's moon, and the sextile from tr Jupiter, I don't think he'll be in the mood to stir up contention.
