I am one and I pin it to my Cap Moon. I am not emotionally secure unless I work and earn a living. Perhaps in company with my Virgo Asc, Mars as well.IP: Logged |

Saturn in 6th
Jupiter in 6th
Planets in 10th, 6th
Mars/Saturn
Mars/Jupiter
Saturn/Sun
2nd/8th axis
Moon/Saturn
Mars/PlutoIt can be all signs but I see Cancer, Taurus, Capricorn, Aries, Virgo, Scorpio being the most afflicted with this.

In general, I'd say Saturn-aspects, Mars-aspects and/or a Virgo/Capricorn influence. In particular, I have: 1. Very tight Mars square Saturn (actually, I feel this holds back my mars, but on the plus side - it does not allow for flakiness w.r.to work).
2. Wide Sun square Saturn & Sun conjunct Mars (My self-worth is greatly tied to what value I can add at work, maybe this is the aspect that causes it?)
3. Mercury conjunct Mars = Mental stamina
4. Also --not sure if applicable-- I have Cap moon in Vedic. Like Charlie said, not emotionally fulfilled until I've worked my @$$ off for something.
5. Venus in Virgo: I  details. And working to fix things. Edit: I'm a Mars in Scorpio, and the mars in Virgo, Scorp, and Cappy people I know are also workaholics.
For different reasons, yeah - but the result is workaholism in each case. 
For Scorp mars, it's generally the will-do-whatever-it-takes mindset. Also, I've noticed 10th house suns and 6th house suns have this tendency too. IP: Logged | |
