I want to compare my experiences with taurus rising women.
My so far encounters with taurus risigns especially if females they tend to play it rich/ high class when in fact they are not. They are actually pretty good at seeming they come from a wealthy background especially if you don't know them personally.

What's your rising?I have met quite a few of them. I am one. I actually disagree. Taurus like Scorpio withhold information. So a lot of time they just tend to have a history that's not apparent at first glance. Whether they are richer or poorer than they appear is a matter of their venus and Mars ( Mars rules 7th). Well I'm a Taurus rising (Virgo Sun) but I'm not like this. I have never pretended I was richer than I am; in fact, I often felt bad if I knew that I was in an unequal position with respect to others.
My two cents is that the 8th house rules how we handle finances and inheritances, so having a stellium there only increases the importance this person gives to this specific aspect. What planets does she have in the 8th house?Also Venus and Mars square, so she might like demanding other's attention (about this matter). IP: Logged |

Her venus sextiles her mars.
By placidus, her Sagittarius 8th house includes her sun (very close to the 8th cusp) as well as saturn-uranus-neptune-mercury in Capricorn. IP: Logged |

This is the "lower" type energy I dislike. And I find that there is a common thread with Taurus rising, Moon and Sun with regards to itThere is a Taurus rising(male though), who likes to come across as wealthier than is actually the case. I think it makes sense that Taurus and the 2nd house be affiliated. Since 2nd house deals with self-esteem. I find a lot of Taurus people have something with regards to self-esteem going. You can find those that have a high sense of self- esteem and are the "anchors" for others. Whilst there are some others who seem to replace this with an insane need to have more, better, flashier "stuff". IP: Logged |

This is probably what's happening with my dad. He frequently tells me of how people seem to think he's some sort of super rich person, and he hates it. He's a Leo Sun with a Taurus Rising on the 29th degree. We do have a nice house, but by no means are we rich. His ascendant probably explains why people think he's rich or something lol. One of my teachers also has a Taurus ascendant, and she's always telling me of the coolest, rarest things that she was able to get. Sounds pretty Taurean to me lol (in-fact she's a Taurus sun too lol). IP: Logged |

They honestly like nice things but they are quite insecure too. Taureans sun and rising like affirmation. Taurus rising likes to look nice, a bit like libra rising, but also good quality. It feels at time they indulge themselves or ask for too much (my Saturnian self is coming out here).They really like a nice home and nice clothes but some other things like expensive cars night not be as important. And they all are very money minded so trying to look for a good deal and bragging about getting things on sale are common. It really really depend on the Taurus rising but as they get older, they become significantly more discriminating due to Virgo in the 5th. IP: Logged |
