Hello,

Does anyone have this experience? My transit saturn is currently transiting on MC, making a square to my Natal Saturn in 1st.
I suddenly have problems with my higher education, it's not that I didn't work hard, I just don't have luck, I got ill before the very important exam, everything suddenly became so hard, I'm experiencing bad luck, I'm Moon in Capricorn person so I know how to deal with things when is rough and when there is a lot of hard work....but this is just too much.

So I wonder what are your experiences with this transit? And how to deal with it

Any insights would be very helpful
Thanks in advance,

Leonisces

I forgot to mention Saturn is transiting the last two degrees of my 9th house..so that may be connected to higher education...any thoughts?

Saturn is transiting your 9th house? That explains why you're struggling with your higher education.

I had Transit Saturn square Natal Saturn back in late 2013. Saturn was transiting my 12th house. It sucked. A lot. All of 2014, I was not in college due to the state of my health. I could not take any courses, because I was trying to recover from this overpowering exhaustion that had begun in 2013. It turned out to be Sleep Apnea. After dropping 50 pounds, my exhaustion finally returned this January, the solution pending.

Saturn is currently transiting my 1st house. I've had a transformation of my identity within the last year that began a few weeks after Saturn passed my natal Ascendant. I thought I knew myself, but I'm starting to realize that I didn't know myself quite as well as I thought. Things regarding my identity are getting complicated. However, I'm also more focused on getting things done. I'm not as focused on the "who" anymore, just putting in the work to have a life in the first place. I'm making progress with my identity, but that isn't enough for me anymore, because I have to have a plan for my future. I have to fix whatever problems I have so I can finally begin working.

Now, how does that last paragraph relate to Saturn square Saturn? Well, I'll tell you. My Ascendant is mostly in 12th house and only the last 2 degrees are in 1st house. So, I'm still experiencing the effects of this transit. However, my experience doesn't help you. I personally sought out professional advice that eventually led me to discover more about my past and who I am in general. Plus, my personal experience of who I am became shifted by a desire for something new and different. I eventually decided I want to be different than I presently am and this is going to lead me to become a different person than I was in the past.

For you, I did the math. Saturn transiting your 9th house right now puts your Ascendant in Pisces. Since you have Saturn in 1st house, that means you have Saturn in Pisces as well. I don't have much experience with how a Pisces might cope with this square, but are you perhaps creative at all? Spiritual? Maybe pursue a new hobby that helps put into perspective your suffering so that you are still productive even though your higher education isn't going well. If you have a job, maybe focus more on that and take a break from your education until your situation improves. Another suggestion is you might find it helpful to get a career counselor or something to see if maybe you should switch majors. Depending on how bad things get, there is no shame in getting a therapist to help you cope with your problems. I've done it.

I suggested some options, but I don't know if they're any good. Still, I think I coped with my square by tapping into my Saturn's zodiac sign: Aquarius. My identity is a bit out there at times, but it helps me cope and I feel at home with it, which is now allowing me to focus on establishing my future through effort and hard work.

My situation is improving and it's worth noting that this transit does have a bright side. It's just hard to find it, because at first there's this massive struggle and you don't know if you'll be able to deal with it. I definitely felt that way when this transit first began.

I am currently going through this transit. Transit Saturn is in my 6th house conjuct my natal Moon. Square natal Saturn rx in the 2nd house.
It's been bringing up some difficult situations, mainly external forces that have made me come to realize that I Must do something regarding my self esteem, not let people step all over me, also the structure of how I work and my finances.

Transit Saturn is also square natal Mars in the 9th.
In general, he has come to trigger my T-square that I have been battling to "repair' for a very long time now. It's fkn hard! But I do feel that at the end of all this tension and setbacks I am going through atm, I will have built a stronger identity, someone that won't only look at what others need but what I need to live a healthy and independent life. Something also like Lerena described.

Don't forget that transit Neptune is also in the picture for a couple of years, making it harder to keep your energy high and see the reality of things sometimes. especially if you are not used to the energies of Neptune.
Go with the flow sometimes, it helps

Hopefully everything will go well for you!
