Marriage is important to them. Mars is drive and it's House shows the domain in life in which drive is expressed.------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Is it also a combative placement? As in the native projects their Mars (aggression) onto their partner? I've read the natives almost get a kick out of arguing with their partner (even if they deny it) and almost require at least a little friction in their relationships to be satisfied. Being so, this has been said to be a possible indication of divorce in a natal chart.IP: Logged |

I have this placement. Aries also rules my 12th house. Pluto rules my 7th. I have mars in the 7th conjunct Pluto in the 6th. I am also very Scorpio dominated. Anywho, everything I've read here rings true. I am VERY relationship oriented and my main focus in anything I do is a partner, potential partner (if I'm single), and my lifetime partner. I also have moon in Libra so this is probably another reason why I'm SO relationship oriented. Plus, Venus is my chart ruler.. so my response might be a little bias. IP: Logged |

Thank you, my Friend. Yes, Mars in the 7th has a goal of marriage/a serious relationship.

Mars in 7th needs to learn about manners. Or could project this energy on another. It could mean that they attract aggressive types or those who play hard to get. It could also be that there is a lot of tension, stress, back/forth in relationships. As this is where they use up a lot of energy (Mars). Leo Mars likes to be in the drivers seat and tends to "expect" things to be done for them. They also are likely to be perfectionists who want "only the best". IP: Logged |

I have this placement. I don't like that i attract agressive people (by aspect in their natal or synastry i mean, i don't attract too much Aries/Mars types) but I attract Libra types a lot and i love it I prefer partners who are more submissive.I like to be the upper hand but i also like a balanced relationship more. I want to make the person pursue me I'm a Aqua Mars tho. Mars in the 7th for me is like i'm really into Aquarius/Libra guys!!! specially Libra. IP: Logged |

Thank you all for your responses.Everyting you say actually does make sense. I don't know if this guy is into relationship but he seems he is. Also I have Venus in 7th, and I am very relationship oriented, so actually Mars in a mans chart in 7th could also indicate his drive and what he strives for. "Hard to get" people that those people are attracted to is so TRUE. IP: Logged |

So... I have Mars in Gemini, but it's in my 12th house (though conjuncts ASC.) and I met someone, also an Aries, with Mars in Gemini in their 7th. Terrible. Utterly terrible. Were we similar? Well yeah, but at least I'm upfront with the drama I start. I own it. It's mine and if I'm starting it I'm proud of it (I know it's weird. Maybe that's more the Mars than my Aries?) But him? Couldn't do it. LOVED arguing until the break of dawn (So boring to me to be genuinely upset and arguing with someone who loves the sound of his own voice). Especially Mars in Gemini. SMH. He was aggressive when provoked, quick tempered, but I'll also say I appreciated him being easy to read. He was combative and then mocked people for calling him out on it. Liiiike... ooookay. Have fun with that. OH okay something to actually do with Mars in 7th in general. This guy wasn't very assertive in relationships. Like he couldn't get to the point, he kept dancing around it (That song "Blah Blah Blah" by Kesha? Probably had to deal with a Mars in the 7th guy. I don't blame her.) but he attracted ME (a triple Aries) who totally preferred getting to the point and calling spades spades, very Martian in that way indeed. Sorry for the rant. IP: Logged |
