I know there are ton of threads out there, but let's not dredge those up (well, I don't feel like it, anyway).Let's talk about our Sabian Symbols, how they're traditionally interpreted, how we might believe they apply to our lives, our own spins on the symbols, etc. I've often pondered my 4* Capricorn Vertex (which I'm generally pretty pleased with). "A GROUP OF PEOPLE OUTFITTING A LARGE CANOE AT THE START OF A JOURNEY BY WATER." Also, do you use the symbol for the degree, or do you move to the next degree after say, 5.31 or so? I've never been clear on that. I tend to identify more with the symbols of my actual degree, as opposed to the degree ahead of it, even if it's past the halfway mark. IP: Logged |

Man, why are we the only people responding to this, SV?!  I still want to hear from people as to where they start reading the next degree of their Sabian symbol? IP: Logged |

Whenever you have a degree plus x, you read the next higher one. Example:
my Mercury 25°03 Sag, is the 26th Sabian symbol (unless you read on cafe astrology, then it is 25-26 Sag) The reason for that is that there is no 00 degree in Sabians. IP: Logged |

Now I know which ones exactly to use. I like the ones for my Venus & Mars the most. An expressionist painter making a futuristic drawing. A broken bottle and spilled perfume. Although I feel like my Asc a lot, sometimes.
