Topic: Can strong mars/aries influence indicate delusional tendencies like neptune?

I know neptune influence esp hard aspects in a chart can make someone believe in something that isn't really there and not see themselves and others clearly but i am wondering if mars or aries influence in a chart can also give the same tendencies? I have noticed with people i have dealt with that got aries or mars influence in their chart without any neptune/pisces/12th house going on have often been blinded by arrogance and doesn't really see themselves nor others clearly bc of it. All water/fire signs are generally considered more dreamy/creative and less realistic than the earth/air bunch (these guys stand for logic, common sense and reason).I don't think Aries stands out as being more or less realistic than the others in the fire/water group. But an Aries placement.... wherever it is in the chart... will always seem more pulled away from reality - than an air or earth counterpart. e.g. I have Moon, Venus and Mars in earth... and I feel Aries Moon, Venus and Mars are much more dreamy, idealistic... "mentally living in a movie" - in the areas of life where these planets are most obvious. But someone with Leo Moon, Venus or Mars... wouldn't see them this way at all. They would feel like Aries inhabits the same sort of "reality" they do. So it's all subjective as well ^^  IP: Logged |

Mars and Neptune have very different Astro traits.
Neptune is cloudy at best while
Mars and/or Aries is more direct.so I would say no.  ------------------

When you are at home and get a chance pls, no rush at all. Thanks. Delusional disorder and delusions of grandeur are different from arrogance but I get what you mean as they can both be connected too. Like a homeless paranoid schizophrenic who is convinced he is friends with famous people and that there are people following him who want his sperm has delusions of grandeur and persecution ideations but his delusions have a touch of narcissism/arragonce clearly bc he thinks his sperm is special. Neptune to me would probably rule delusions. I could see how a neptunian with sun in aspect to mars and jupiter maybe can give delusions of grandeur but for arrogance alone I would say Sun in aspect to mars and jupiter bc leo or aries placements tend to just add confidence and maybe a little bit of self centeredness but does not lead to arrogance imo.
