Is anyone straggling with weight gain and difficulties controling food cravings with Jupiter virgo transiting his 1st house!?
Jupiter is transiting my 1st and my attitude towards overeating/over indulging is none existent, like an "I don't care" attitude which deffinately doesn't do any good for the scale ..:/

Not me. My Asc is 17VIR14. I have dropped 2-3 lbs since it passed over my Asc. But I have gotten more energetic, and at times more outspoken. I'd rather work or be active than eat, even though I really enjoy food.

It really depends on what attitude and/or level of health you entered the transit with. I've had to make effort for the gains I've made during this time -- and that is with my prog Asc also conjunct prog Jupiter!

Jupiter isn't 'happiness made easy.' Its just the expansion principle. What we focus on is what will expand most.

Jupiter helps us say yes to things/people more easily. If we relegate ourselves to what comes easily (lots of unhealthy food, easily obtainable food, social contacts around us even if they aren't healthy for us) then we don't benefit much, even during Jupiter transits.

These are great times for building confidence to venture out (expand) into forgotten or new areas. Growth is the keyword, but it often needs to be guided with aims and ideals. Otherwise, we tend to just give ourselves more of the same.

Yes. When Jupiter was in Leo, I had just quite smoking (again) before it hit my Asc, coincidentally. I was very thin, and I gained about twenty lb in that year (maybe 25).

As soon as Jupiter entered my H2, I went back to work full-time, and lost about 10 lb of it.

Now I'm pregnant, with T Saturn trine my Asc, and I've probably gained more weight than I would prefer at this stage, but I'm looking forward to a healthier pregnancy diet now that we're finished traveling for a bit.

But yeah, you're not the only one who's put on weight with Jupiter! I thought I would be thin and wiry forever, lol. Nope. Pretty sure I look better, though.
