How might you describe the effects of someone natally having pluto sq. ascendant, saturn opposite ascendent and venus sextile ascendent (pluto in Scorpio/4th house, saturn in Aquarius/7th house, venus Rx in Aries/9yh house, and Leo rising). And chiron Leo conjunct ascendent (chiron is in the 12th but few degrees from ascendent).

Any ideas how it would play out in personality and how others might perceive such a person?

IF this Asc is accurate -- and that is a huge if -- then the person is extremely ambitious and/or has challenges with domination/control. Relationships tend to be disrupted over such battles for territory/control/final say.

If the person deals with these aspect energies by not risking/investing in relationships, but preferring to maintain their own dignity (superiority?), then it will be more difficult to observe this configuration. They may choose career over personal relationships. Depends on Moon sign, other chart factors.

They'd have the tendency to be careerist, self-promoting, condescending, to over-state their true abilities, but to be extremely determined, a truly formidable and capable personality. Ruthless.

If you have their respect and don't interfere friendship may be quite long and loyal. The difficulties come in the closer you get to them, or the more they see you as competition.

Thank you so much Kannon, I appreciate it!

It's mine and the ambition and wanting domination is all true, also I tend to be a little temperamental but it's all short-lived as I'm quick to calm down. All of those emotions are internalized, though, since I'm pretty reserved and shy so the assertive side isn't something obvious to others. It's all in the mind, but it stems from insecurity which I think may have to do with chiron on the ascendent. Thanks again!

I'm sorry for interrupting the discussion, but I have to ask.

Kannon, I've never been entirely sure about why you're so skeptical regarding TOB. At least in the US in the past number of decades, I see very little reason to question this, unless it's just a matter of a few minutes.

Anyway, I've just been wondering about this, and as you've mentioned it here, I thought it was as reasonable a time to ask as any.

Is there a reason you believe that hospital clocks are inaccurate, or that doctors wait around before announcing the baby's time of birth, or am I missing something else that causes you to question people's TOB?
