Just curious if anyone on here has any experience or can provide insight on this aspect. I was reading that a Venus conjunct Mars can behave a bit like a Venus in Aries (which I very happily possess in my own natal chart). However, a guy I've know for quite a few years now seems very shy and withdrawn. I've heard stories (from him as well as others who know him) that at work he's known to be a bit intimidating and kind of a smartass and with friends he can be argumentative and a bit aggressive with them (which I really enjoy in a person). But around me he doesn't say a lot and seems very passive. I know he's interested in me in a romantic way, but he never talks about it, doesn't compliment me or flirt with me (at least that I can tell). The only way I can tell he's interested is because randomly he'll suddenly show physical affection - like kissing or he'll grab me and hug/hold me, kiss me on the cheek...very sweet and passionate but he always catches me off guard and I'm left feeling a little confused about his intentions.

Could it be that the conjunction in Pisces is what's making things confusing? How would a Pisces Venus/Mars go about trying to date someone? How do you think they would show their interest? Help.

The conjunction between Venus and Mars suggest someone who pursues their passions(Venus) with gusto(Mars).

But with Pisces,it could be that their passions are not easily identifiable or they are given to reacting passionately about things unexpectedly or strangely.

It could also suggest a tendency to act in a very passive aggressive way in love. Perhaps even pursuing your love interest(Venus) in a firm/resolved manner(Mars), but in a very indirect/confusing way(Pisces).

Strong secret fantasies, strong secret longings, the inability to openly go for something but feeling very strong feelings towards wanting to own it etc. are all characteristic of Pisces on love planets Venus/Mars.

A Pisces Venus/Mars conjunction often shows undying love and devotion that may not be aggressive at all.But very tenacious.

This may be someone who loves you a great deal. Waits for you for years and indirectly takes great pains and effort to show you how they feel: Never tiring and always keeping the passion alive in their minds eye. Until eventually you two are united.

In their world, you were already theirs. You just didn't know it

Its a sweet placement overall. But it can be frustrating for the party on whom these affections are geared- as they can never get a "firm" assurance of the Pisces passions in a dependable way or conclusively.

But when you finally start to understand them. Start to read the "totems" they send you and secret signals(which are always in high supply mind you with this placement).

Then you will see that there are indeed few people on earth who will be insanely devoted and in complete "union" with you than Pisces Venus/Mars.

Vey interesting description!
Do you think that this could apply to the opposition or is it totally different? And how could that be? I know I am getting a little off topic here, I apologise to FmVenusWLove, but I am very curious about the interpretation lol
Thank you!

Now that I'm looking back at our interactions, this makes so much sense! I think I'm partially confused because I feel like he has such a laissez-faire attitude toward me - on the surface he seems to act like he could care less what I do. Most of the time he's like ice man - I can't read any emotion on his face. For example...for about 6-7 MONTHS he had been contacting me and asking me to hang out with him. I was stressed and dealing with money issues at the time so I kept turning him down. He never pressured me or made me feel bad for blowing him off. He never made a big deal out of it or confronted me about it either - he was so chill and seemingly not bothered about the whole thing. Yet I just realized that he never stopped asking in spite of me being extremely aloof and flaky...I would have given up on me after the first month!

I guess what I didn't realize was that there some major tenacity there...just very subtle and not aggressive at all. But tenacious non-the-less. So interesting! His Venus/Mars conjunction is also in his 8H. Wouldn't this make him even more ambiguous in love?

No worries mar1982delta Ask away. I'm curious as well how the opposition would play out...for the sake of science!

I also have Venus in Aries like you and Mars in Pisces, but honestly, my Venus in Aries overshadows my Mars in Pisces. When I like a guy I'm like a woman on a mission; I'm NOT afraid to approach him and express interest and ask him out. My Pisces Mars is expressed more when I'm alone with a guy and we're intimate. I'll usually be submissive and let him take the lead in "stuff" lol.

I dislike men with VENUS in Pisces though, those are the men that don't respond well to Venus in Aries. They hate being pursued by a woman, but yet are too shy to pursue a woman themselves. They're also way too sensitive and take everything as an insult in romantic affairs.

Venus and Mars in Pisces? That is right up my alley. In the original posting, going from aggressive, argumentative to silent and sweet sounds accurate and there's an explanation for that. Venus and Mars in Pisces really does give you a double dose of Piscean energy making for a dude or gal that's super chill and extremely romantic. We act accordingly to whom we're around. I know for a fact, that once I sense that I'm around people who'd take my kind and gentle nature for granted, I'd turn up the aggression by giving off an energy that states that I can stand my ground. If I'm dealing with someone who likes to be dirty, controlling and manipulative? I'd call them out on their BS or just show that I can stand my ground and don't try to get over on me. As for people who are genuinely good and respectful? They wouldn't have a need to even see that side of me, so I'm generally very chill and mellow around them. Pisces is the sign of the Dual Fish, so its basically whom I'm around that depends on which layer of my character will come out.

I love venus/mars pisces. I love that they can be so firey while also being super compassionate. Perfect mix for me hehe
Please continue on, I know somebody like this and I actually made a post a while ago asking about whether venus/mars in pisces ended up equally aries like energy or not.

Basically...don't mind me I'll just be over here reading...

@mar1982delta

Venus Pisces vs. Mars Virgo

Are there two in opposition? Because if they are, it creates an interesting contradiction.

You may be attracted to one ideal, than spend tons of energy trying to make it its opposite.

Or you may feel that you don’t quite get what you desire. In other words, what you want is never really perfect. There are always problems with it- some of which very hidden.

Hello Aries23degrees, yes, they are in opposition, quite tight actually, 16 11 pisces venus - mars 14 12 virgo..
It's not mine though lol.
So I guess this causes some extra problems...Thank you!
