This aspect is the most exact aspect in my chart. ;-; I have been looking up on what it means and cafeastrology says that people with this aspect trust people to much is that true. Thx :3IP: Logged |

That isn't necessarily true. It can manifest in a few different ways. I could see it making someone slightly more trusting from a couple of reasons.. The first one being that the aspect may pick up on another person's thoughts/feelings. Of course, you would think this would help the aspect/native to detect lies, but, at times it could cause the native to feel as if what the other person is saying is what they (the native) themselves is feeling.. So, what the other person is saying suddenly becomes more convincing. I'll try to think of an analogy for this. Of course, Neptune can also manifest in delusion in the correct circumstances, making certain situations seem a bit more trustworthy than they really are. Or.. Rather, sometimes Neptune is actually especially in tune with the highest qualities of a person.. But, qualities that may not actually ever come to the surface or acted upon. Ok.. So..
Let's say you are having a conversation with someone.. And even while you wouldn't usually feel a certain way, you start to subconsciously pick up on their thoughts or emotions and confuse them as your own. Suddenly, because of that, whatever they are saying feels more real, because you believe that what you are feeling is coming from you, when really it is coming from the other person. Suddenly being put into that person's place, it feels more real and easier to trust, because it is almost as if those thoughts are coming from you, when they really aren't. ^^ does that make sense? I know I worded it oddly. Sometimes, Neptune also has the problem of trying to ignore the negative rather than taking care of it or acknowledging it, because, doing so would cause pain. It's easier for Neptune to ignore something and hope it goes away.. Time for another analogy.. Neptune would be the type that would worry about having cancer, and not getting checked.. Knowing they could, but fearing the diagnoses so not doing anything about it.. Not getting it checked out. So, in the long run, they try to ignore the bad news.. But, in doing so, actually make things worse than what might have been if they took the problem head on. Kind of like.. That feeling of apprehension.. The question that you need answered but are afraid to have it answered. Sometimes avoiding asking the question altogether. So, Neptune may "trust" in order to keep away from the pain of actual knowing. There are a lot of sides to this all, really. But, for the most part, this aspect doesn't necessarily spell out "trusting too easily" IP: Logged |

Shrug. It's more like the native may trust his/her rose colored glasses too easily. I have moon square neptune. While it's true that I prefer to believe in the good side of people, I'm aware of the bad side as well. So I trust people enough, but not blindly. IP: Logged |

I have been that way in my earlier years, but as I've gotten older I rarely trust anyone, and I don't get close to many people. I still act on my compassion and empathy, but I do it in a way that more closely resembles my Aquarius and Uranus placements. From a distance, or at work, or with my closest family members. Maybe that's still Neptune, I guess. I think Neptune can also be detached in ways, sometimes. Not sure what planetary/sign influence I would peg for the way I am now, compared to the way I was when I was younger. Edit. I don't have Moon/Neptune square by 1*, that's my Moon/NN square. my guy has an exact square of Moon to Neptune and he is not very trusting. In fact, he is more mistrustful than most people I know. I think he doesnt trust easily because he cannot trust his own Moon's ( square Neptune) instincts or his inner voice. So he just mistrusts everything. IP: Logged |

Pisces moon square Sag Neptune (Neptune widely conjunct Venus)I've always believed people have some innate goodness, and if I just hang around them long enough, I will see it. But I am really sensitive about vibes and try to keep an optimal distance...so that I'm not too far or too close. A lot of times people want you to keep at a certain distance, heeding all their little "stay away" signals before they give some kind of gesture that it's okay to come closer. I've known a few people who are like that...it took weeks, months or even years to get a decent conversation out of them. Those are some of my favorite friendships now, though. I might trust a person very sincerely, but that doesn't mean I will tell them my life story and everything on my mind. It's more simple...just being relaxed and happy in the other person's presence is my goal. Some might say I'm not fully there if I don't feel like I can tell them much about myself...maybe that's correct and it's something I have to work on. But I feel like my values clash with society's, and for the most part I don't feel like defending my choices or setting myself up for criticism. IP: Logged |

Read Pisces Moon- as the same themes are covered.I have often found that there is a repetition in themes with certain placements i.e Moon in Pisces, Moon/Neptune, Moon/Jupiter, Moon in 12th etc. My Mom has the opposition aspect and she tends to be very subjective in her memory i.e. she remembers only the good and sort of "forgets" that which is traumatic. I think it describes the maternal figure, early childhood memories, emotional state and subjective experience of life. Interestingly enough, my Grandmother was Pisces Sun. Other people that I have known with Neptune/Moon, Moon/Jupiter,Moon in Pisces or Moon in 12th; -Mother in prison/incarcerated -Mother estranged from her children or unable to take care of them -Mother is hospitalized -Mother has falling sickness/epilepsy. -Mother in mental institution -Mother in therapy or is herself a therapist -Mother has "savior" syndrome; either always wants to "save" others. Or she herself wants /longs to be "saved". -Mother dealing with drug or alcohol issues -Mother suffers memory loss/Alzheimer's -Mother who is psychic. -Mother who is prone to depression or feelings of isolation. -Mother who is blind. -Mother who self-sacrifices -Mother who is artistic/talented in the arts -Mother is an actress(Neptune ruled profession) -Mother is a priest/very spiritual. -Mother has healing gifts. -Mother suffers a mysterious ailments that undermines her health. There are so many ways in which Pisces energy on the Moon can play out and this list is not exhaustive. I often see it relevant when secrets are revealed. I read a story of someone who was re-united with their long lost mother after 20 years. His Moon/Neptune were in conjunction in Sag natally. I didn't however look at progressions Jack Nicholson had a very close relationship with his sister-Venus(ruler of 3rd house of siblings)/conjunct Jupiter. And found out at age 37 that his sister was not his sister , but his mother. At that time, Progressed Moon in Cap was square natal Venus/Jupiter mix. Again here, the contact of Jupiter/Moon has a Pisces feel i.e. whom I thought was my Mom(Moon) turned out not to be my Mom at all(Jupiter square). IP: Logged |

That is all true in my case, too, Aries 23 Degrees. quote: I have often found that there is a repetition in themes with certain placements i.e Moon in Pisces, Moon/Neptune, Moon/Jupiter, Moon in 12th etc.
Here's a striking example: http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Leonard_Cohen Sun on the ASC but technically in the 12H, along with an exact Venus-Neptune conjunction (0.01° orb) in the 12H. Moon in Pisces conjunct Part of Fortune and widely opposing 12H Neptune (8°). His father died when he was 9, and apparently his mother was spiritual or religious: Cohen has said that "I had a very Messianic childhood." (Wikipedia)

Oh, i have this aspect. I don't trust anyone. Literally, THERE'S NOT A SINGLE SOUL I TRUST. My friend gets really frustrated about this. I hate having to trust people, i don't want to lie to them that 'i do trust' so i end up embarrassed and try to change the conversation.I think it's different for me. Like it was mentioned in this topic, i try to "ignore the negative rather than taking care of it or acknowledging it". This doesn't happen so often tho. But this one does: "whatever they are saying feels more real, because you believe that what you are feeling is coming from you, when really it is coming from the other person." And i'm really sensitive. Daydreaming 24/7. That's how it manifests for me. I feel Neptune very VERy strongly. Probably because i'm Venus dominant and Neptune makes a tight conjunction . IP: Logged |

^^ This is partly why I used to be so quiet. I don't feel like defending how I feel, or my choices. I started talking, because people used to call me "mysterious" all the time. And I wanted to actually have relationships with people, rather than keeping everyone at a distance. Now I talk because I don't like to have how I communicate, controlled by others. If I feel like talking, I will; if I don't, I won't. I missed out on the opposition natally, but I think they're aspecting in declinations (parallel, or contra-parallel). And a lot of my opening up, happened with Neptune square Moon/Venus/nodes, transiting. I don't trust easily. I've had my trust shattered before, and I see people hurting each other all the time. But I can't stay closed off, either. IP: Logged |

Moon ( Gem 6th hs ) opposite Neptune ( Sag 12th ) here. -Mother who self-sacrifices / did too much -Mother is very spiritual / naively religious -Mother who is prone to depression or feelings of isolation / she used to cry everyday. she suffered chironic depression for 40 years... until -Mother suffers memory loss/Alzheimer's / she is having the time of her life. She is happy now!
