Every since 2016 started I noticed how I have became more withdrawn from my peers. Do you guys know any aspects that causes this? ThanksIP: Logged |

you would have to look at the transits to personal planets. What was activated at the beginning of the year?IP: Logged |

Saturn conjunct my venus. Even if I wanted to, I get out and it isn't worth it. Time at home, with close friends/family feels better. IP: Logged |

Yep, me too. I used to post here a lot and Facebook a little. Now I post here a little and Facebook nearly not at all. Though I'm still lurking a lot. I just don't feel that I have much to add. I don't feel down or depressed in any way. Not at all. I feel like being quiet. It's very strange I have to say. I've got a lot of opposition going on with transits, including mercury opposite mercury. Maybe that's it. IP: Logged |

An astrologer friend of mine has me convinced that Jupiter is the planet of social consciousness...our whole orientation to society. Currently transiting Jupiter is in practical Virgo, widely conjunct the NN. It's a saturnine Jupiter because: a) It's in the Capricorn decan of Virgo b) It squares transiting Saturn in Sag (exact today) c) It is tightly trine Pluto in Capricorn. I think we all might be preoccupied with self-improvement at this time, learning to make more practical use of our unique philosophical or religious values. Our social consciousness lately is more about, if we each serve (Virgo theme) ourselves and our goals (Cap/Saturn theme), society will be served. The nodes and Saturn are all impinging on Gemini energy, which completes a grand cross with them. So wherever we have Gemini planets or a Gemini house, it's probably feeling somewhat challenged or "dimmed." Less desire for communication.

I'm having the opposite problem: I want to disappear, but I can't. Some years back, I could lurk with no problem, but I can't seem to do that anymore, either. I think it has to do with this: http://www.cntraveler.com/stories/2016-03-01/elizabeth -gilberts-life-changing-story-from-indonesia-that-you-havent-heard quote: The distance I had traveled may have been vast (10,000 miles from home), but the distance she traveled was vaster (all the way across the island, to knock on a stranger’s door) and the kindness of her actions opened my heart to awe and amazement. And that’s when I realized that my entire impulse had been dead wrong. I needed the exact opposite of isolation; I needed connection. This stranger had seen my need, and she had offered fellowship. In so doing, she not only healed me but taught me these lessons: Be not solitary, and be not proud. See others, and allow yourself to be seen. Help others, and allow yourself to be helped. Make contact, and be open to kindness. When I returned home to the States, I was not so proud. I sought out human contact. I found people to talk to about my troubles. I shared my vulnerability and my sadness, and made new friends and built a new community as a result. I reached out for love and assistance—and ultimately that’s what made me okay again.
quote: To be sure, the world can be a scary place, and we all want to be safe, but here’s the thing—safety can never be found in isolation. Human warmth and openness will always be our only place of true safety. Be careful about hiding yourself away, because walls that are meant to be fortresses can quickly turn into prisons. Be careful about trying to become invisible or you may accidentally disappear. The very thing that you believe is protecting you may ultimately be endangering you—by making your life smaller, poorer, and more deeply saturated with fear.
I had a recurrence of a Saturn transit, that happened in my childhood and teens, and seems to have brought about similar results, only with me a lot older, and more pessimistic... but I've also had better experiences with some people, and more attitude to deal with those who would love for me to just disappear.

This is stretching the topic a bit, but...taking Faith's observations a bit further for my own personal analysis, I see that both T Jupiter and Saturn are making exact hard aspects to my asteroid KARMA right now. They're not affecting anything else in my chart directly at the moment, but I'm feeling...something, alright. Interesting that, as T Saturn is still transiting my H5 where my NN lives, I've been obsessively focused on my son's education lately, and on religious/philosophical approaches to his education, painstakingly deliberating on what I think would be best for him individually, etc. (Jupiter/Saturn combo?) I'm setting us up for a homeschool kindergarten this year, and finding that most of the materials are religious in nature, which I'm personally not comfortable with. However, he has an interest in Christianity, and I want to encourage him in whatever he pursues along those lines. I enrolled him in karate, which he loves so far, and is great for socialization and getting all of that Aries energy out. As I'm very preoccupied with all of this (and sick this week), I'm just sort of frying my brain on it and not getting out much. Anyway, that's my weird contribution to this thread. Jupiter/Saturn with a Virgo/Cap vibe, I think. IP: Logged |

I meant to add that if you're just feeling quiet, it could be that sextile to Neptune - I was happy enough with Neptune sextile my Sun. Soft aspects to Saturn usually bring that for me, as well. Or Venus. IP: Logged |

Here's an interesting story I thought I'd share about "withdrawn" transits.... My boyfriend passed away in May 2010 and I continued receiving daily transit reports by email every day for him (along with my own and a couple family members) from a well-known website. It includes the Daily/Moon transit, the Weekly/Short-term transits, and the Monthly/Long-term transits. Now understand that every day you will have at least a Moon transit or in House aspect, usually one to a few weekly transits, and maybe a long-term transit or two, but not always. Okay, this is what happened to my boyfriend's transits (and by the way his long-term transit was Neptune-Sun called "Adrift") the very next month, June 2010.... June 3...1 daily/1 weekly and 1 long-term transit (Adrift) June 4...1 daily/1 weekly transit (Adrift disappears) June 5...1 daily or Moon transit (weekly transit disappears and Adrift) June 6...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, No Transits, not even the Moon, disappears June 7...1 daily or Moon transit (reappears by itself) June 8...1 daily/1 weekly transit (weekly transit reappears with the Moon) June 9...1 daily/1 weekly and 1 long-term transit (Adrift reappears along with a weekly transit and of course the Moon) Where did he go?? It was so bizarre to me, that at the time, I emailed the website administrator to ask them if they had ever seen this happen before with anyone else's transits?? I still have a copy of the email sent back to me that stated it was extremely rare to have this happen and that he would have at least had the Moon in House on the day of June 6th.IP: Logged |

Saturn square/opp/conjunction to the 7th house or 7th house ruler.Saturn square /opp/conjunction to the 1st house or 1st house ruler. Saturn on the Sun/Moon/Merc/Venus and Mars. Even Saturn on Jupiter can cause withdrawals. I dont feel particularly social right now, even with Jupiter in Libra at the moment. Saturn is sitting on my Sun/Jupiter/Neptune triple conjunction and trine my Asc. Pluto is also transiting my Asc/ Moon/ Mercury/ Mars/ Venus points. And its a sober time. The stand out anti social time was Saturn on my natal T-square. And then in 2014, on my natal Venus/Saturn (my Saturn return). That was lonely. My sister is experiencing her Saturn return now and she has decided to take gym/weight loss seriously. It does not seem to affect her social life. So i guess it differs with each individual.
