Just like the title says:
how do you know when it's time for things to be eclipsed away?

are there signs all along the way or is it a sudden surprise? any stories to tell?

I have the upcoming libra eclipse that will land (exactly on my Pluto) and am a little afraid of what may happen. This will be in my 2nd house.
I also am undergoing a saturn transit through the 5th house and the (in)famous uranus-uranus opposition.

Does anyone have any words of solace or advice?

thanks

You don't always know, and you won't always be ready for it. I wasn't with the eclipse in Gemini, in 2011.

They aren't all bad, though, and they apparently are felt within three months of happening - afterwards. I'm not sure if you can feel it three months before, as you would an applying aspect. Some will tell you to look for echoes of it a few months later, or a year later - eclipses are connected, as they move through the signs. I'm not sure what the last year was, that this one is connected to.
