Tell me about your midpoints, your ASC to each planet and how you feel about it. There's this online calculator if you want  .I was reading this topic and i want to know about this "they say your sun,moon merc mars etc midpoints to your asc reveal your true nature..." I think it's very interesting because midpoints, angles, vertex etc are equally important in my opinion. I want to know if you feel "your nature" represented by the ASC/planets signs?? My midpoints(ASC)
Sun/Ascendant: Libra
Moon/Ascendant: Gemini
Mercury/Ascendant: Libra
Venus/Ascendant: Scorpio
Mars/Ascendant: Scorpio
Jupiter/Ascendant: Scorpio
Saturn/Ascendant: Gemini
Uranus/Ascendant: Scorpio
Neptune/Ascendant: Scorpio
Pluto/Ascendant: Libra This doesn't have anything to do with this topic but i just noticed that my Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars midpoint are EXACTLY the signs in the natal chart of a singer who caught my attention and i had to look at his chart That's cool. IP: Logged |

Sun/Ascendant: Cap
Moon/Ascendant: Leo
Mercury/Ascendant: Cap
Venus/Ascendant: Aqua
Mars/Ascendant: Sag
Jupiter/Ascendant: Leo
Saturn/Ascendant: Sag
Uranus/Ascendant: Sag
Neptune/Ascendant: Cap

Those midpoints are only valid in your natal if some of your planets or important points are making conjunction or hard aspect to them under 2 degrees. Otherwise, they're just lying there dormant, unless they're activated by transiting planet.IP: Logged |

Asteodienst has a midpoint calculator chart. I think it's listed under the Pullen charts.Midpoints matter and it annoys me that people dont focus on them more. Especially in synastry. If someone's planet lands on your sun-moon midpoint, that is not something to dismiss. IP: Logged |

Interestingly, my Sun/Moon midpoint is trine my Asc. Also, my Venus/Mars midpoint is conjunct my Sun. I only recently learned about midpoints, so I'm very curious about them right now. I'll calculate my asc/planet midpoints a little later. IP: Logged |

Trines and sextiles don't count. Only hard aspect and conjunctions, since they generate much more energy.

Yeah... I HATE how ignored midpoints are...In my natal, they work just great!
Although I'm still quite sceptical about them in synastry. Sun-Moon midpoint seems to work for me pretty well. Others? Not that much... :/ IP: Logged |

My ASC midpoints are:Venus/Asc=Sun and Moon
For Scorpio rising, I'm very friendly and pleasant when talking to strangers. I'm still quite introverted though. And I think that thanks to this midpoint picture I have nice skin Lilith/Asc=Venus
I kind of love to present myself as a Lilith-type woman MC/Asc=Neptune
Sometimes I feel like I'm invisible... Sun/Juno=Asc
Am I seen as someone who would make a good wife? Mars/Pluto=Asc
People (especially men!) feel pretty intimidated by me... Venus/Chiron=Asc

Midpoints work, also in synastry, especially if a natal midpoint picture is triggered by someone else`s planet.
Let`s say you have natally Sun conjunct Venus/Mars and someone elses Mars opposes your Sun, he would activate the whole picture for you. Activation of midpoint pictures without a planet also work, but maybe a bit more subtly. Orb: 1°00-1°30 max
aspects: conjunction, opposition, square
Where I find them working amazing is transits btw, and other predictive charts, maybe because they are so event-oriented.
Midpoints in a sign? Hmm, not so sure about it. If so, then we would have to take the whole axis into account, as there are always two midpoints in a circle for any given two objects, a near and a far one. They are both equally valid.

For me the midpoints I zoom in on are those that are square , conjunct, oppose a planet. The orb is >3 Degrees.Asc/Mars midpoint conjunct Moon
Asc/Mars midpoint opp Mercury Moon/Mercury midpoint opp Asc and conjunct natal Mars. Moon/Mc midpoint conjunct Asc The Moon/Mercury midpoint opp natal Asc makes sense. I am always talking about how I feel and if not. I am thinking of how I feel. IP: Logged |
