Yeah, it happens in my family too. In our family it's the Leonine energy that is inherited. Taurean energy is quite strong as well. My grandpa - Sun, Venus, Pluto, Saturn and Mercury in Leo My grandma - Moon in Leo My Father - ASC and SN in Leo, Venus in Taurus My grandam from mother's side - Sun in Leo My younger brother - Venus in Leo, Moon in Taurus Me - Venus in Leo, Mars, Lilith and SN in TaurusBoth me and my younger brother are Cancers who are born the same day (!) but he's 3 years younger than me. And our father has Aries sun in Cancer dwad! I've also noticed that certain asteroids are inherited in our family as well. Both me and my father have asteroid Embla (first female in nordic mythology) on our Suns. My mom has Osiris conjunct Sun, while I have it on IC. She has also asteroid Africa on her Sun, just like me! When I was looking up fate asteroid in chart of my family, results involving asteroid Skuld were astonishing! Both grandma and grandpa from father's side have Venus loosely (around 3-4 deg) conjunct Skuld. My mom has Venus square Skuld. And both me and my brother have Venus conjunct Skuld, much tighter than in chart of our grandparents!

quote: Over the years, I’ve often had occasion to look at the charts of people who belong to the same family. I’ve come to believe that many families have a ruling planet—one that is prominent in all their charts and that describes the family composition and history in a nutshell.
http://skywriter.wordpress.com/2011/02/07/things-you-may-not-know-about-the -5th-house-and-children/ It's Jupiter and Neptune for my family. My dad has 3-4 Pisces planets, Neptune on his IC and Jupiter conjunct his Dsc. I have Neptune in my 7th house and Jupiter as a water singleton conjunct my vertex. Plus, I have a Pisces MC conjunct my draconic sun/ASC. My son has Jupiter conjunct his ASC. My second son has Jupiter conjunct his sun, draconic moon in Pisces conjunct my sun. My daughter has about 5 planets in Sagittarius. There's a lot and it's kinda hard to explain all the links, but it's very Jupiter/Neptune. My father has Scorpio in his 5th house of children. My Jupiter vertex conjunction is in Scorpio at the end of my 5th house widely conjunct Pluto. My first son has moon in Sagittarius conjunct Pluto. My daughter has sun in Sagittarius conjunct Pluto. Sometimes the links aren't as obvious. Look for other prominent patterns. quote: Through our Draconic chart we can discover how others are acutely, albeit subconsciously, aware of our soul's purpose and act accordingly -- opening life's doors and sometimes slamming them in our face. It traces where we came from (test it with parents and grandparent's charts) and where we are going (compare it with the charts of your children and soul mates). Links will be found by comparing Natal and Draconic charts, plus Draconic and Draconic. Draconitc charts are also quite sensitve to transits, so compare the Draconic chart with transits of important events.

quote: Within families there is a karmic inheritance that is handed down the family line along with the genetic blueprint. We inherit deeply entrenched emotional and mental perspectives, as well as unearned propensities such as musical and mathematical talents. Yet unfortunately, we know that alcoholism, depression, abuse and certain illnesses are also inherited. We gladly accept the unearned talents—such as Mozart-like propensities, but a negative family inheritance such as the Kennedy family “curse” is not pleasant thinking.

^ Draconic charts I've said before that Libra Mars is really strong in my family...most of us have it in natal or draconic. My draconic Mars in Libra is tightly conjunct: My IC My name asteroid My father's sun-Mars My sister's Mars My daughter's Mars My son's sun (and his Mars is also in Libra) Also, Mercury-Uranus aspects are very common in my family. There's so many connections I can make. First off, my dad has a Gemini Mars. I've got a 3rd house Merc and Neptune, along with a Gemini Moon. My sister has a Gemini Venus conjunct Mars. My mom has a Cancer Moon with it in the fourth along with her Mars. My dad has a Cancer saturn in the third. I've got a stellium in the fourth (using equal houses), and my sister has a Cancer moon & cancer saturn. I also have a fourth house sun like my dad. My mom has a Leo Mars. My N.N. sits in Leo in the 10th. My sister has a tight Mars - Pluto opposition. I've got a Scorpio Mars. My sister also has an 8th house sun and N.N., and I've got an 8th house moon with an exact opposition to Pluto. My dad has a Scorpio N.N. My sister is also born on the exact same day as my Uncle, which is the 25th of April. Can't make any connection as to why I have an Aquarius stellium, except for having Aquarius Venus like my grandparents. That's all for now. Lots of stuff lol EDIT: I've also got a Virgo Stellium in Draconic with a Gemini Asc conjunct Mars exact, conjunct my Moon and my dad's Mars, along with my Virgo stellium conjunct his Merc and Venus. I'll definitely check my family's Draconic chart later. It's very interesting all these connections, i'm loving it I think the NN/SN is VERY important. IP: Logged |

I have: Natal MC @ 4 degrees Pisces DR ASC/sun @ 3/4 degrees Pisces DR Jupiter exalted in cancer My second son has DR moon @ 3 degrees Pisces DR Mars @ 11 degrees Pisces DR mercury @ 17 degrees Pisces DR sun/Jupiter @ 25 degrees Pisces My first sun has: Jupiter opposite Neptune on his ASC/DSC axis My daughter has: DSC @ 15 degrees Pisces NN @ 20 degrees Pisces DR DSC @ 24 Pisces Can you believe there's more! Well, I noticed that my mom has North Node in Cancer while my North Node is in Capricorn. My grandmother had a North Node in Capricorn too.I also noticed that my dad's North Node is in Gemini and I'm dating a man with North Node in Sagittarius. Maybe that means something? IP: Logged |
