This transit is just beginning for me, and my health is not holding up well.

I was at the worst I've ever been, health-wise, when I got pregnant a few months ago, and this is a very difficult pregnancy for me.

Also trying to set up homeschooling for my son this year, as he's only going into kindergarten.

I don't want to throw too much at him, with a new baby sibling, and then shove him off to school all day for the first time. His little Cancer Asc and H4 Moon are sensitive in that way, so yes I'm being a bit protective.

Anyway, my health and Virgo-ish things do seem to be demanding my attention rather suddenly.

Anyone have (preferably positive) experiences to share about this transit, or ways that you were able to successfully deal with it?

Usual disclaimer: I try not to look at transits too closely, so not paid much attention (till now).

I don't have experience with this one - but the things I've read aren't quite so bad as you expect. The bottomline they say is, since Pluto is like the rehab of Planeteria - the opposite extreme, to be led completely overhaul your health routine in an obsessive and unsustainable way is a temptation that must be avoided.

This transit may surely indicate upheavals in the health department, but it's a time when they say the *transformation* (again, Pluto theme), is for better health. Just take care not to overdo it - like some crazy fad diet that seems like a good quick fix.

I remember reading somewhere, "If you're going to be extreme at all, be extremely moderate."

Hope that helps. And hope your health picks up soon, too.

Thank you.

I've read that about the complete overhaul in the health area, and I've also read that it can indicate a complete physical breakdown.
With my Cappy Mars, I never really thought much of that, but it is hitting me pretty hard, it seems.

I'm sure I would do well to completely overhaul my eating habits in general, in rather small but meaningful ways. Fingers crossed.

I'm going through this transit it's been years and for me it's been exhausting. Probably because it's also conjunct my Cap Sun exactly right now. I don't think i had a 'good experience' during all this, the "less bad" thing is that i rarely get sick(like flus, upset stomach, headaches etc) but i have blood problems, low vitamns but it's easy for me to recover so "it's ok"(it's annoying that i have to do blood exams every 5 months). I also take extra care of how much i eat because exaggerating got me some trouble.

I advise you to pay attention to your body(I didn't and now i have a back problem ). If you feel like doing/eating something is making you sick then try to avoid doing it if you can. This transit will make you more concerned about your health. But try to be relaxed, there are a lot of good relaxing music on youtube, it really helps.

(Just for you remember, some people feel certain planet's energies in a more intense way than others. I feel Pluto because it squares tightly my NN/SN and it makes aspects to all my planets except for Mercury. So maybe it'll have a different impact on you)

I hope you'll be ok

Oh my gosh, Pluto is exactly conjunct my 6th house cusp right now. I've been kind of apprehensive about the transition, but I think I understand what it means for me: I need to change my every day habits about work, not necessarily my eating habits. (Although they could always be better I suppose.) But yeah, I've found myself working harder to get what I want lately.. I think this transit reflects that. We'll see... I wish you the best, Violets. I'll come back here if anything illuminating happens.

Oh, here's 12 hours of Neptune EM Noise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cga3DfaLc7A
Thought it might be fitting here. It relaxes me

Thank you.
I've been noticing that paying attention to my body is very important right now.

I was having heart palpitations, dizziness, and a general inability to concentrate for a while there. Not good no matter how you slice it, and definitely not good when you're pregnant.

I was already put on bed rest for five days last month, because I had a very close call with an attempted miscarriage.

I definitely feel Pluto transits strongly, and I'm concerned that Uranus will be about 2* from squaring my Cap Mars when I am due to give birth.

I suppose if I focus intently on paying attention to my body now, I might have a smoother delivery when the time comes, if I'm lucky.

So I'm just gonna go ahead and bump this. Not sure how many LL folk have gone through this transit, but I'm hoping for a few more who can add some experience, or the experience of people you know in real life.

Hi Violets

Hope you're doing well, still

So far I think it's not necessarily bad, just hard, having Pluto in my 6th.

But I have a 6H sun square Pluto natally.

What I've had to learn in this transit, is how to drop the fear. I have struggled with serious hypochondria and orthorexia before. I needed to learn how to be okay with not being perfectly healthy...I needed to learn to be okay even if I have cancer symptoms...I had to figure out how to just be at peace with everything and approach health with a happy attitude instead of a terrified-of-disease attitude (as I had before.)

I honestly just do NOT do my best but as decent a job as I can, while remaining relaxed. I refuse to berate myself for the inevitable french fries I will eat or vitamins I'll forget to take.

This is just what works for me of course. Everyone has their own needs, I know.

I eat a lot of dark chocolate and recommend it for pregnancy, in moderation of course. But it really helps with the moods.

@Violets

I wish the best for you and the baby Pluto is difficult but when the rewards come you'll see how much it was worth it. I read once that Pluto makes you worry but doesn't necessarily mean something's wrong and knowing this makes me feel more positive. I hope you'll stay positive too

Thanks, you guys.

I'm not sure about this transit for me.
I think that what normally works for me may not work right now, so that's something for me to consider.

I think it might be my Cap Mars who stubbornly refuses to acknowledge any physical ailments that might hold me back from normal activity, but "soldiering on" is just not working for me so far.

This is a difficult pregnancy, for sure. I was not in very good shape when I got pregnant this time, which is not normal for me.

I'm personally not inclined towards hypochondria at all, but I am a little freaked out about my health at the moment (mostly for pretty valid reasons).

It's difficult for me to listen to my body when it says "Stop doing that." My initial reaction is "Pfft. No. I need to get this done, and I'm not going to sit around all day."
I don't think that's going to work.

It's also been hard for me to get back into healthy eating habits with this pregnancy.

A year of traveling and relocating has seen me eating a lot of fast food (and food in general), drinking too much alcohol--NOT currently, of course--and not getting as much exercise as I normally do.

So I think it's time to take things slowly, get back into healthy eating routines (nothing crazy, just normal healthy), and remind myself to be moderate with physical exertion.

I've already had a couple of very legitimate health concerns come up during this transit, so maybe those issues will be dealt with and resolved, if looking at the positive possibilities.

Faith, maybe along the lines of "letting go", as you've mentioned, it might be time for me to let go of the notion that I can just do whatever I want physically, and not worry about any repercussions because "I'm strong, I'm fine".

Realistically, I'm 41 years old and pregnant, and I need to chill out a bit and pay attention to my body.

My H6 cusp is in Capricorn. Saturn is in my H11.

(Is that what you meant? I should know these things, but I always get confused about house Rulers, etc. )

Cap on the 6th house cusp may bring some reversals, interruptions, delays and erratic changes with regards to ones everyday schedule.

One may have to watch their bones, teeth ,knees, skin with Cap here.As these could be vulnerable areas or there could be some challenges here.

Cap on the 6th house cusp is very organized and disciplined when it comes to schedules.

It is likely that they work in a laborious job that requires them to work over-time (unpaid)or in unpleasant conditions i.e low income, isolated areas, terrible hours, hard-driving seniors/supervisors etc.

Cap on the 6th is also an individual with an irreproachable work ethic. And it is likely that this is something that they have always had -even from a young age.

And if Saturn is in Libra/Capricorn/Aquarius,they can be seen as one of the most valuable employees in the company they work for.

This can also be a position that may impede the native at work-as they may be seen as a threat or intimidating to those above them. And seeking self-employment often results- due to these challenges.

Now when Pluto(ruler of Scorpio) moves into the 6th, it often speaks of loss: Loss of job, loss of schedule, loss of routine, loss of health etc- especially when in Scorpio. Something has to go to make space for something else.

But when transiting in Cap,this loss is unlikely to be so intense and can speak of challenges and reversals within work/career/status quo or reputation(Saturn rules Cap).

Perhaps the job will get even more demanding then it is currently? Perhaps the health issues start to gain momentum or other impediments that delay/complicate your daily life/routine start to show up?

What Pluto here will do is ask that you abandon this over-attachment to wanting things to be regulated and orderly all the time.

You are a perfectionist. And you can be incredibly hard on yourself for not being "productive".

As Pluto moving here will start to loosen the grip with regards to getting everything "perfect" and ask you to redefine what "productive" actually means.

Perhaps the health issues will get in the way of having to go about doing your routines? Or slow you down considerably?

Perhaps the job will get so demanding that you will have to change your everyday schedule? Or quit it?

Perhaps the loss of some critical feature in your life that allowed for order/structure will result in things just not being the same? Or changing irrecoverably?

Whatever the symptom, the outcome is that Pluto is going to work on you not clinging on the idea of being a perfectly running, well-oiled machine that is all about getting things "done" anymore.

It will not focus so much on you working, but have you asking yourself "Why am I working so hard?", "why do I want my life to be so heavily regulated?", "does my everyday routine actually serve me at all?"

Saturn will give clues as to how you handle these challenges i.e. will you search for intellectual clarity(Gemini Saturn) or emotional support(Saturn Cancer) from your friends(11th)?

Pluto is not a slave master. It is the psychologist that digs for deeper questions that review the perceptions of the house it touches.

So here, you will not so much focus on having "more". But be more quality conscious etc.

So if you develop hard/challenging health issues, your time will be more precious and you will come to realize what is really important in your life.

Doing as much as possible within a short space of time is not the aim. But doing things and consciously being "in the moment"(even if it is just one thing) will grow to be more satisfying.

Good Luck

Wow Aries23! That was a good read -- exactly the issues I've been facing lately. especially about redefining 'productive' and being in the moment.. I don't think this is going to be so bad after all. I definitely need some spring cleaning in the areas of 'work' and 'everyday routine.' (and probably health -- i have a habit of depriving myself of sleep and food, and yes ultimately I need to ask myself why on earth I would ever want to LIVE like that.)
Thanks

I have a 7th house Pisces Saturn. I definitely think it will play out in my relationship, considering that my Saturn is conjunct the composite Sun. In fact my SO just mentioned to me last night that he wants to change his daily habits.. Weird.

This was awesome, and so far fairly accurate.

My schedule (not that I'm particularly organized at home, and I'm not employed elsewhere) has definitely been disrupted, as well as my ability to do things I would normally not think twice about doing.

Thank you for such a fantastic response, Aries23Degrees.

Also, I just want to note that yes, my skin has been going crazy lately, due to the sulfur in the well water where we're living. I had to buy a special filter for the shower, as well as one for the kitchen faucet.

I don't have much of a routine, but what I do have as far as comfort zone, and a *sort of* routine between my son and I during the day, is really getting messed with due to being on bed rest, then getting sick, and generally not being able to run around and play as much.

Hmm. Still contemplating this, so I'll add some more about how this transit seems to be affecting me...

As I mentioned, I don't have much of a routine in my daily life. I'm a stay at home mom for the time being, and rather disorganized about it (Sag Neptune and NN in H5 is spontaneous and creative, in spite of what my Virgo Moon has to say about it, and Pisces Sun is pretty, uh...lackadaisical).

I am very organized at work, when I work outside my home (and it's true, although I loved what I did for a living, my income has always been quite dismal).

Anyway...

My son and I have our "routine". It's not really a routine, but it's our normal process during the day, and he is primarily the center of our family.
This is changing, and it will clearly change a lot more after his baby brother/sister is born.
It will be a HUGE change, as a matter of fact. We've had almost five years of everything revolving around him (and he has an Aries stellium, so it has sort of needed to be that way, to the degree that we're able to accommodate that).

As I'm due to have the baby, my plans also include homeschooling my son at close to the same time, so that he can still feel close to everyone, and a part of the changes, rather than being gone all day and possibly feeling left out.

That's a pretty big challenge that I'm setting up for myself, so I wonder how I'll deal with that.

Hopefully my health issues will continue to only be inconveniences, despite Uranus and Pluto approaching my natal Mars. (Fingers crossed)

Just wanted to bump this and leave this here.
http://www.lynnkoiner.com/astrology-articles/survival-tips-for-the-pluto-transit

Reading it really made the connection click for me that transiting Pluto energy, simply put, is experienced as a need for control. So in the 6th house, you will find that you can't rest until 6th house things under control.

Anyway, this past week took a crazy toll on my mental and physical health, (sleep and food deprivation, stress making me cry randomly) just because my family's financial situation drastically changed. i have to get a full time job and support myself and move places in less than a month (i have like $150 to my name, BTW) on top of being a full time student, and already having 3 internships and volunteering. I am starting to fail at everything, so some of the things I worked hard for to get, I just have to let go. On top of that, the people around me act ridiculous and passive aggressive. Hope you're doing okay. Lol

Pluto is entering my 6th house and I’m afraid. Based on what I’ve read about this transit it can cause health issues. I’ve had my blood checked recently and everything seems fine. But still I’m worried I do have a few health issues a thyroid problem and a skin condition I’ve had the skin issue for years though. But I’ve been thinking about my heath and wanting to go to the gym and eat healthier. Transit Pluto is currently square to my Sun. I hope I don’t suffer from health issues. Some people said they had serious health issues when transit Pluto was in their 6th house.

Right now it’s squaring my Sun. But Pluto is to retrograde back into my 5th house. And in January of next year it’ll be in my 6th house. I’m going to start going to the gym and changing my eating habits now. So maybe it won’t be so bad when it actually enters my 6th house.

Pluto is now conjunct my mercury and in my 6h. I hurt my lower back doing pole dance a few months ago and the medication I'm taking for my thyroid was giving me terrible muscle cramps. Even though I want to work out, the doctor says I shouldnt do any exercise until my thyroid levels are normal. Doctors don't take my lower back pain serious because they look at my age and say to give it a few days it'll go away. Then I have work issues to boot--feelings of conflict between my line manager and myself (albeit it's probably just my anxiety and overthinking). Issues with the job being in a challenging and unknown field but scrapping for hours. Thinking I should quit but I just got a new contract with a good pay.

Can this be a good transit for losing weight? I've been thinking a lot about my health lately. And I've been really wanting to go to the gym. (Pluto will enter my 6th house in a couple of weeks)

Loss of health? This is so negative. Why can't it be about a transformation in taking care of your health (6th house rules health).
