yes, Sun- Venus always brings love. When I see it in synastry, I know the Venus person loooves the Sun. Depending on the rest of the synastry, it could be a romantic love but not necessarily. Could be just a friendship. This aspect does not bring passion or lust. Just love. The adoration is there.

With friends I often see Mars-Sun or Mars-Mars connections- usually sextile, trine or conjunction.

Venus / sun double whammy with my guy... Definitely love each other AND genuinely like each other. Which helps when times get tough.

I know a guy whose Venus conjunct my Sun under 2 degrees and i definitely don't like him.

My mom and dad have Venus opposite Sun DW but it's a wide orb of 9.

I'd like to know about Venus quintile Sun exact in synastry, please?

I gotta agree with this. Sun conjunct venus doesnt guarantee anything. I have it double whammy with a virgo im not even emotionally, physically or intellectually attracted to.

So jelly of Sun/Venus in synastry.

A DW sounds great.
I had that with the person I was in love with back in HS (opposition and trine).

I feel like it's a must in a relationship... though I may be wrong.

My Venus is in Aries and I'm not too big a fan of Aries men. I don't think I would like the Sun/Venus aspect so much.

Interesting about the Sun-Venus-aspect. While I generally agree that it`s at least a promising aspect (of course there can always come up something else to spoil the fun), in reality I don`t see it very often in relationships around me.

What I see very often however are Sun-Moon-aspects, and very frequently hard aspects and also hard aspects of Saturn to relationship planets, and yes, in very happy and loving relationships, not relationships where one party make the other one miserable and they are just staying together because who knows why.
