Hello. I was looking at my Mercury Persona chart when I happened to come across something that caught my eye. It's what I currently deem to be an "unusual aspect pattern". It looks like a Cradle, but it's not. The interlocking Trines are replaced by inconjunctions (quincunxs), and the bottom is still a sextile. However, the Opposition in the cradle becomes a Trine, and the other two sextiles become squares. What the heck is this? Is this an actual aspect pattern? The planets involved in this case are Mars, Saturn, Moon, and Pluto. chart removed IP: Logged |

I see. At first I assumed that it was just another name for a cradle, but upon further research, it seems that it is an entirely new aspect pattern on its own. Though the description I found doesn't include the quincunxs. IP: Logged |

A persona chart is basically a natal chart for each planet in the natal. When you are born, the sun is placed at a certain position and that's what they call your natal chart. From there on, whenever the sun makes an exact conjunction with a planet in your natal during the first year of life, that planet is basically "activated" and receives its own personality. It allows for one to see the inner-workings of a planet in their natal chart. You read it like a natal chart, and apply it to that specific part of your personality. If you look at your Moon Persona, you'll notice that the sun is in the same position as your Moon natally. You then identify certain aspects and parts within that chart to grasp a greater understanding of why your emotional context is the way it is. We can also call the natal chart the Sun Persona, if that helps in anyway IP: Logged |
