I've got virgo moon in the 11th and I definitely have dealt with a lot of clingy friends, but I haven't noticed Cancer in particular? honestly i think mostly i wind up called upon to help people who lean more toward fire than water. I wonder if fire is drawn to earth (e.g., earth to air, air to water, and water to fire) in order to satisfy a perceived personal lack? People who clung to me mostly seemed to crave my structured nature; i can imagine similar principles for other operating pairs, seeking completion in a non reciprocal way?

yes! is it moon in the 11th's fault? i have tended to attract needy friends and it really annoys me tbh because the older I get the less patience I have for clingyness. it really irks me. but i can't drop these friends as they mean too much to me. i just take space when I need it.
some do have cancer placements. I have cancer venus so that would be why. they either have cancer or some watery venus.

Moon in Taurus 11H and no the opposite. My friends are all really independent. I DID have a codependent friendship with a Cap/Scorp, but I grew out of it.

I have the same placement as hannarama- my friends were independent but demanding emotionally. The Friends I have deliberately picked now are not like this at all
