Moon in 3rd shares many similarities to Moon in Gemini.This would also be doubly emphasized if Moon is in aspect to Mercury The easy aspects make emotions easy to communicate-Not likely to be tongue-tied or exaggerated. The hard aspects suggests a struggle in finding the right words or perhaps even using words that are emotionally loaded. Either way however, there is activity between the Moon(emotions) and mind(Mercury). And thus the tendency for one to identify(Moon) with their thoughts(Mercury). I have Moon in 3rd and my Moon is in opposition aspect to Mercury. I speak about how I feel a lot. Don't know if that is the same thing though. IP: Logged |

My daughter has her Pisces moon in her 3rd house, trine Mercury.My daughter talks a lot. I have to tell her often that she needs to take a little break to get her things done. She feels better when she shares her feelings with me. IP: Logged |

I have moon conjunct mercury in Pisces, 3rd house but I dunno if I talk a lot.... I do like to share my feelings and thoughts though. Sometimes my thoughts are so abstract I lose people when I talk about them lol. Also, I think I'm more of a listener than a talker. IP: Logged |

I have moon conjunct Neptune in Capricorn in the 3rd, sextile mercury in the 1st, nn in the 4th, and opposite chiron.I like to write a lot and find i understand my own emotions better if I'm sharing either verbally or by writing. The Neptune and Capricorn influence decrease my chattiness some but I'll go on and on about my feelings and what's going on with me in the right circumstances... yeah. IP: Logged |

Yes!! i can totally relate to this! In my head, my thoughts are all mumble jumble. I can organize my thoughts better when I verbalize or write it out. Sometimes I answer my own questions as I talk...which is really stupid. Hahaha IP: Logged |

I think that sometimes my daughter gets confused with her thoughts. She gets some that are uncomfortable to her too. She also has Uranus in her third. IP: Logged |

I don't have a 3rd house moon natally, but I do in my Moon Persona. Not to mention my natal Moon is in Gemini and it's trine Mercury (albeit a wide orb: 8.5 degrees). It depends on who I'm with. If I'm with someone I can trust, I would tell them so much. If not, don't expect on getting an answer, ever. IP: Logged |

Yay! Fellow 3rd house mooners! If I'm comfortable with someone, I'll talk and sometimes say things I probably shouldn't. If I'm not comfortable, then I take my time trying to think of something to say or don't bother to say anything at all. But I do feel so much better when I do get to speak my mind whenever and however I want.

I'm talkative with those I know, and used to be with everyone until I realized it bothered people. But I generally don't talk about my feelings, at least my focus isn't on them. But it's not like I pen them up either. They're important, but they're not my focus, and other thoughts are far more important, generally speaking.I have a packed 3H (which includes sun and libra), but my moon is sextile in 5H Sag (in another stellium). My Mercury in Gemini is Conjunct my Aries moon in my 3rd house Aries Moon. But.. My 3rd house is on a cusp between Pisces and Aries. To answer the question. I can be very blunt around people who aren't on the same page as me. However because my moon also aspects my mars in cancer, I can be mellow at times. ====================================
