So here's the thingi read alot about transits to the AC, DC, and MC.. but nothing about the IC so what about the IC?
currently: pluto conjunct MC in cap uranus square MC which means: pluto opposition IC in cancer uranus square IC also with pluto conjuncting my sun, mercury, uranus, neptune and trining my chiron i've been having a real ****** time and all the issues have circled back on to my childhood - the IC so how does the conjunctions to the MC, therefore oppositions your IC affect you? natal charts: with uranus, neptune and mercury conjunct my MC means that i have uranus, neptune and mercury opposition my IC and it suits. my childhood was a ******* mess, it was terrible. (i have PTSD because of it ) and with mercury, well in my childhood i wasn't a great student, and it was due to the chaos at home i couldn't focus at school. so how does your IC aspects play out in your chart?

Jupiter opposed my IC last year on September 17th. I was also hit by Neptune opposing my Midheaven that same day. It was painful. Extremely painful. It took me 4 months to recover from that, because the opposition from Neptune hit me so hard I fell behind in my Creative Writing class. I had to drop it. That's how bad things got and after the semester ended I reflected on what the Midheaven represents and wondered why it hit me there. It hit me where I was most vulnerable, but it also hit me in the last place I thought that opposition would.Natal chart: Mars is in my 4th house, but it doesn't aspect my IC. Either way, my childhood was harsh. I often felt alone and isolated. Current transits: Neptune and Chiron are in the 4th house. They have already moved past my IC, but they will aspect my natal Mars after entering Aries. IP: Logged |

i found this article and it's quite on point for mehttps://skywriter.wordpress.com/2011/01/04/the-midheavenic-axis-who-wore-the-pants-in-your-family/ Neptune on the Midheaven shows one or both parents as too caught up in addictions or other dysfunctions to meet the children’s needs. Offspring may then be placed in the position of caretaking the parent and siblings. With Uranus on the Midheaven, parenting is often erratic and unconventional, with parents and even stepparents coming and going. IP: Logged |

The MC/IC axis deals with your psyche and its very internal (while the ASC/DC is external). Its called the "gravity" axis. Its the "spinal cord" of your chart. The IC being your personal being and experiences, and the MC being your personal outward expression. These two work together in unison so whatever touches what will affect the other. If pluto transits your MC, you may have a very transformative way of showing yourself, because you're currently being transformed inside first. IP: Logged |

If the Midheaven (MC) is 'heaven', then the Undersky (IC)is 'earth'. The IC is the roots/earth point in which your life is set up. This implies that natal plants conjunct, parallel, or square the MC will tend to propel one away from one's native geographic location and/or inborn station in life. (Mars was parallel MC when I was born, thus contra-parallel IC; I moved 2200 miles from Texas to Oregon 7 years ago with no family or relations here). The IC/MC axis is also the parental axis, in which parents play roles for us depending on our unique orientation to the things family members have in common. (My MC in Gemini, IC in Sagittarius symbolizes the potential for my parents to play a significant role in my education, which they did both secularly and religiously to age 15). Our transits to these points can trigger any or all of these points of meaning, depending on where we are in our growth and relationships at that time. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification IP: Logged |

My youngest son has uranus exactly on his IC in Aries. His father and I split when he was only a couple of months old. We've lived 2 miles from each other since his birth and now we get along well with time split pretty evenly between us. We don't have a set schedule, it's pretty much up to the boys (he adopted my older son) where they stay each night. I think that's pretty on par with Uranus on his IC, his parents not having any set schedule. Also, I am the extremely independent/protector parent and his father is the more conservative, old fashioned parent so our kids get both sides of the coin. We co parent very well now (it took us a while to get here) and I think my son's Libra MC shows how he was basically the driving force for his father and I to find a balance between us for our kids. His venus is conjunct his MC.His chart for reference
