My ex, My daughter's father, has this. He also has Mercury and Venus square Neptune as well. Unfortunately, he displays the negative sides of these. He drinks to excess, avoids any responsibility, and is quite delusional. IP: Logged |

I am a huge daydreamer and can easily daze off to la la land when i am esp bored. I am addicted to have something to fantasize about and its not possible for me to have my head empty of fantasies. I love listening to music because they fill my head with fantasies. This aspect i think have brought me some insecurities and it makes me doubt myself even in things i know i am good at. Some people dont see me clearly no matter how hard i try to be clear but they still get the wrong idea about me, its like i am invisible sometimes. I think sun/neptune folks can "accidentally" be very mysterious to others without even trying to be and people have a hard time figuring us out and can downright get very annoyed bc of it. This is something Doux Rêve said once about sun square neptunians and its the best description i have read of this aspect and a lot of it rings true for me i just had to copy and paste it. "The people I've known with that square have a very "lost" vibe - like they're on drugs or zoning out, haha. They seem very elusive, it's hard to understand "who they are" and what they want... Very foggy. You can't really define them, because it's like the "real" them is buried somewhere and not shown to the world or even to themselves. Self-deception? Maybe. They seem to have troubles with depressive moods / apathy and a lack of motivation or drive; and an overall passive disposition. They are lovely though, kinda have a calmness to them that can be attractive. But there's sometimes a feeling of... silent suffering, almost. Something tragic in a very quiet way - like they're burying all kinds of feelings and can't get out of their misery, but it's not all that apparent, you have to look close to realize that. It feels like a part of them is missing - or that *they* are missing, as a whole. But I suppose those would be the less positive manifestations. I think it takes time for them to find who they are or who they want to be, and they can create a lot of misunderstandings around them and *inside* them, before finding out what they want out of life. They're very sensitive folks though. It's like they don't really "belong" here, you know? Like they're too fragile for this world, almost. They can be wonderful artists thanks to their refined sensitivity and super developed senses. They just gotta work on their self-acceptance and self-confidence (something they tend to lack, at least in youth)." IP: Logged |

I agree with what Doux said. I have it natally, and I think I fluctuate between the positive manifestations and the negative, depending on what's happening in my life and how I deal with it.IP: Logged |

I'm asking because i was looking at my friend's chart and she has this aspect and i thought that it could be very similar to a Pisces Sun. Btw i have the conjunction in the same sign and house but it's wide, 12a degrees. I was told that i'm naive, dreamy, shy, all these things, also delusional when in love. ;(Lol i know what's like, i end up doing stupid little mistakes because i'm not paying attention. And all your descriptions are on point! It's complicated to deal with Pisces energy when you're trying to be productive I didn't see Doux description before, thank you so much!! *feeling sad but too sleepy to cry right now* IP: Logged |

Btw my Moon persona chart has Venus in Pisces, natally my SN is in Pisces and my Sun/Moon MP too. I also have Neptune conjunct Venus 2 degrees. Sometimes it's hard to 'tell apart' a single aspect!IP: Logged |

It seems im one of those sun neptune squares that the description of Doux doesnt fit one bit, like not even one thing. Neptune squares my Sun, Nodes, asc/dsc and mars. Eternal oprimist here. Very driven, too. My only negative of this aspect is that my love life is usually complicated. IP: Logged |

The world that we are living in. That is the illusion. But the world in our dreams, our fantasies and highest points of inspiration. That is the world that is real. Once you understand this point of reference. Once this conceptual understanding of the Poseidon experience is deeply contemplated, you may recognize a common thread with Neptune people i.e. 12th house,Pisces etc. Often this experience is like the author who intuitively "knows" the slow but sure demise of the heroine in a book. She may rise to levels of unparalleled success, be popular with many, have immense beauty and just be oh-so captivating and legendary. But there is a slow and sure fate that follows her. This is the fate that awaits all of us. And that is that we all dissolve into nothingness i.e we go back to oneness and leave all that we know(individuality) and what we have(possessions)behind. Some Neptune people may take part in the "drama" of life; almost fooling all(including themselves) to believe that they are taken in by it i.e.become a "success", become a legend, become what everyone approves of etc. But watch these same Pisces folks speak about endings and the "great beyond". Not with fear and trepidation. But with longing. Like there is a sweet siren that haunts them in their soul that calls them to the edge and tells them to "jump". When you see that readiness, that enthusiasm. You know that for many, the real desire is to be "there" and not "here". It's difficult for some to resist. And so they do "jump"; whether through drinking, escapism, apathy or lacking of ambition etc. It is all a wanting/needing for the illusion of life to be over. For the game to end. "You can die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"- Dark Knight When I first heard that quote, I thought of Pisces/Neptune: how the levels of heaven and hell, success and failure, poverty and privilege all become intertwined . And soon enough we know not the difference. I think Neptune rules suicide too-because it is "self -undoing" i.e returning to the void of oneness and letting go of the illusion that you are separate and individual from godhead. Other Pisces who also fantasize about the eventual meeting with their maker -know that the drama of life is necessary. That it is through longing, "forgetting" the separation from all that is etc. that makes the eventual/inevitable re-union that much more ecstatic and all-consuming. So for these Pisces, the siren that calls them forth to "jump"- haunting them just as deeply in their sleep as it does the former- is met with a gentle but firm "Not yet". Sun-conjunct Neptune in Sag exact here!

Meh, I'm a daydreamer and it adds extra sensitivity to my Aries sun. I'm trying to learn how to say "no" in all areas of life. "No" creates boundaries that this square lacks. The guys I meet are often unsavory in some way (just plain ol' mean, drinking, drugs, liars, etc.) their elusive manner goes chafes my self expression and therefore my idea of what's right since I have Mercury in Aries. Sometimes I don't always see myself accurately, but I counter this by being reflective. My dad did eventually commit infidelity (Sun square Neptune, it happens.) ^^ Don't QUOTE, thanks IP: Logged |

Carl Gustav Jung has the exact square sun-neptune and neptune also square ascendant exact. just to give a famous example of someone whose vision and all encompassing view of humans... what can I say? whoever has read his biography can see clearly his neptunian trait along all his creative work and personal lifeIP: Logged |
