I tend to agree with your statement that an early Virgo Asc near Venus and Jupiter is most likely based on how you and others describe you and your gorgeous eyes. Also, your name 'head-in-clouds' and mothers' description reinforcing this indicates Jupiter and/or Neptune tendency. Neptune is nowhere near strong aspect to any possible Asc, so it is Jupiter. I think we need to find a Virgo-Jupiter combo that fits. I don't think we are looking at fire (Leo) upon fire (Jupiter).

So it might be useful to put your chart at 8° Virgo (3:32 AM) and watch the transits across/square/opposite that point. That Asc has the declination 8° North, which is parallel Venus at 9° N, and Jupiter back several degrees in the 12th house. If Jupiter were actually in closer conjunction or parallel your Asc, you'd more likely be taller (I'm assuming all your family aren't as short as you), and more outgoing than you seem to be.

When doing rectifications I take into account the 5-hour time window surrounding the birth where the correct Asc degree is found, which means for your time range I have to consider back to 7:30 PM the previous evening and as much as at least 1/2 hour after 4 AM.

But as far as appearance goes I agree with those who say Cancer. The Cancer rising person often has a cherubic/angelic, innocent look with an introverted, but 'others sensitive' personality. In you I think this is reinforced by Moon in Cancer close to the Asc. So even though this almost certainly triggers some doubts or incredulity, since common astrological practice equates time of delivery with correct Asc, this is a matter of matching up the real you with the real chart.

No. The only hypothetical exception would be if Moon in Cancer were conjunct/parallel the MC and that were the tightest aspect by a planet to Asc/MC. Not so in your case as it would require a chart timed to about 6 AM. So the only way is if your mother's memory of the b.t. range is way off.

You may be right about Virgo/Jupiter/Venus, but you're too young for enough life experiences necessary to use house positions as a measuring guide. Stick with personality characteristics in light of your choices for rising signs/aspects. Cancer rising in your case would be modified considerably by Uranus closely opposite the Asc. That always indicates an unusual Cancerian, emotional, but detached at the same time. And very, very often those folks are particularly interested in astrology.

Okay - the tendency for analysis is very Virgoan. We're getting more of your personality coming out here. This is why I don't jump to the conclusion of a particular rising sign.

The other characteristics you mention like changing hair styles often, staying in motion, are characteristics associated with Cancer/Moon/Uranus. Your quicker tempo in activities does tend to favor Jupiter, however.

Watch your chart of choice and see how the fire planets have affected your chart/events with Jupiter this last year moving through Virgo, with Mars in Sag squaring a Virgo Asc later in summer ... and Saturn in Sag squaring possible Asc in Virgo the last several months and perhaps again this summer.

If you are a Virgoan analytic personality you should be good at this. Take notes as you watch events and your personality energy/motivation, etc.
