Retrograde Mars will be transiting my Ascendant as well. I think my identity will be largely transformed by the time it's an exact transit. I'm a late Scorpio Ascendant at 28 degrees.

I kind of wonder if theres going to be some sort of need to re-indentify yourself. As in, you thought you knew the direction you were going and the path you wanted but you might be forced to reconsidered or something you missed will come into focus and cause you to reajust your path or goals to include something new or maybe something old that you were letting go of, you decide you want to keep.

Then as Mars heads retrograde into Scorpio Neptune it may stir up a sense of unresolved, underlying pain...unrealized dreams.

Once Mars goes direct over Neptune it may bring new optimism as the dreams seem more workable and accessible now, and then those feelings could be brought to the surface through creative output with tr Mars direct on the ASC again.

while conjunct progressed ascendant LIKE NOW,
Totally different than on natal asc I am sure and not wanting to tweek/obscure anyone elses' expectations I will keep my premature and highly subjective thoughts to my self.
Going to be a summer to write about but a year away looking back might be best

So, to add more info....

Transits of planets across the Ascendant can also trigger health issues? With what Faith was saying, additional anger or frustration can cause more impulsive active-movements, possible to lead to injury if not being mindful of what you're doing, or where you you are, of what's going on in your surroundings.

Mars is cutting, and rules knives and sharp-edged instruments too.

Okay, I checked with book Robert Hand, Planets in Transit, for the tMars conjunct Neptune? (p.250)

He says, "On the PHYSICAL level, you should be careful not to abuse your body... energy level will probably be rather low anyway, and if you push yourself too hard, you will physically exhaust yourself and possibly bring on an illness. You may be subject to infections, ranging from pimples or other small infections to full-scale fevers-- but this problem can be minimized quite easily by simply taking good care of yourself."
