I would love to delve more into the Capricorn man. The guy I am seeing is Sun, Venus, and Mercury in Cap. His Pisces Mars is in his 10th house.
How does he show love? What actions does he do to prove he has become in love with you?
What does he like to be done to express love to him? He has said that he does not always tell what he is feeling. Love ... how do you know?

I think Capricorn men want to be admired and they want to admire you. So if you are respectable & well-spoken, make them look good, they love that. They are really sensitive and appreciate sensitivity from others. But they also appreciate smart feedback that enables them to grow...it's a fine balance between disagreeing with them sometimes to keep it interesting, and being overly critical, which will kill the love outright. If you appreciate what they have to offer (wisdom, devotion, taking you seriously) that goes a long way towards mutual happiness. Really they want, and offer, genuineness. Cap men can be hugely romantic...this is a sign of extremes, and it's a feminine sign...so you may get flowers, poems, songs, gifts, marriage proposals, etc. IP: Logged |

They spend time critiquing you. Lol no (well kinda) but Cap always wants to see hard work and improvement. Cap will work hard to keep you. It is a dry and serious sign but what they lack in expressing softness they make up for in dedication to the relationship. Cap puts in the long hours. They don't expect things to be easy so they won't shy away from a commitment they have made when the going gets tough.Cap: "Actions and effort speak louder than anything else." So if your Cap is there, working to improve themselves, you and the relationship then they love you. I was in a relationship with a Cap ASC, Moon (Saturn, Neptune, Uranus) guy. My Cap ex did express softness but then, his sun was conjunct mine. I'm not certain other girls would know how to read his cues. Or if he would even love them as much as he loved me.  IP: Logged |

Thank you SO much Faith and KoreAbyss. I connect with several thoughts you both have.
1. Sensitive - When he is with his buddies they will raz him and I know it bothers him. He says it does, then it doesn't. He contradicts his feelings. I try to make him feel okay/better when his guy friends do this.
2. I am genuine and truthful to him and he remarks, "Work it!" I do not think he thinks I am being true with my words, but I tell him all the time that I am.
3. He is not a giver of material gifts - more with thoughtful, sweet actions.
4. He has told me and admitted he has commitment issues, so that aspect must be something else in his natal, not all the Capricorn. IP: Logged |

Well, if you begin to look at men who have written love songs and wrote love stories I think you would be shocked at the number of cap suns there are.

You're welcome! I've wondered if Cap Venus has commitment issues? Also Capricorn men can be flat-out picky and want to play the field for a long time, to be sure they don't short-change themselves. They can also be amazingly loyal. I guess it depends on their chart, circumstances, and so on.

I'm a Cap venus, and I can say; If I analyze your words, it can be either a good/bad thing. Depends on the situation. I'm a Gem moon quincunx venus so i may not be of much help. it drives me crazy if i ask you what you mean an you don't tell me/play mind games. but nowadays, I learned to let it go/don't care. Sorry if this sounds critical, I don't know how else to try and highlight a potential problem. There's a chance he wants more clarity from you. So if he asks a question about what you said, that means he wants you to say more along those lines, develop the thought, think about what you said and add more to it. If he's dissatisfied with your communication that is not really a good sign, especially if his Mercury is conjunct Venus. If you think you were perfectly clear and he should be satisfied but he's not...that points to an underlying power struggle. He may see you as complacent and unyielding. He may just be testing to see how receptive you are to his use of force. Meaning, he wants to know how much he can get out of you, by questioning you. Capricorn is deep and wants to see your soul. Ooh, I know a man with a cap sun and Scorpio Venus.
He has a horrible drinking problem too. He's also the king of mixed messages....and I'm the recepient. I've had to block him too. I Couldn't handle the ups and downs anymore. He's not a horrible person though.

This ^^ I have only known a few Cappy men in my life, but I've known them for a long time. I think Scorpio gets the limelight for being "deep" but I find Capricorn - men especially...in my experience - are very soulful and want to know a person inside and out, right down to the deepest part of you. Quality and the idea of "value" seem to be big concepts for Cap - both in regards to finding and keeping worthy partners (because Capricorn absolutely plays for keeps in relationships if he finds you "worthy") and being a worthy partner. However your Cap defines his self-worth will be a big key to discovering how he is and what he wants in a partner - true for all people to an extent, but for Caps I think this is especially a big factor in their approach to love. He is cancer ascendant, as I remember sun in 6th house. No 12th house planets though. I actually spoke to him today and he wants to get back together says he's been thinking of me and misses me very much and wants to try again also claims to have stopped drinking and turned his life around, I hadn't spoken to him in over a year.
