Re: Aries moons

Lots of examples there!

I can only think of one Aries moon in my life, my ex-boyfriend who joined the Marines right out of high school.

ETA: And got a big USMC tattoo on his upper arm, of course!

Plutonian situation as in the Moon aspects and placement, then yes I do feel more like a Plutonic Moon person.

I would say my emotional triggers are emotions themselves. I can be emotionally sensitive and when I see people crying in a movie or show, I try to restrain myself from tearing up. This probably explains why I like Scorpios lol. They understand emotional intensity.

When I am emotional I tend to write, which is something that can be attributed to the Gemini Moon bit. I write stories (finished a 120,000 word story already) and I'm influenced by ideas so easily. That can be more Piscean though.

Sun conjunct Neptune doesn't make this easy!

My moon conjunct pluto, libra moon. I get emotional over deferential things: the under dog, people in pain, animals in pain. I don't like being severed, I like when someone can dismantle my emotions gradually especially with critism. I have a rejection button that's very sensitive when it comes to relationships.

Opening my heart, romance , a best friend, commitment and security are big. Communication is a must, without it I feel like the person isn't invested, I don't need a whole lot but I do need it. Consitincy in character helps, intillecual person who can keep up.

Yes, I can identify with this. I am a horrible housekeeper. But, when I am at work, I'm quite meticulous. And yeah, when I get around to organizing things around the house, it's all very minute and detailed, easy to find everything, etc. Nooks and crannies cleaned, all that. But I would hate to hazard a guess as to how often that occurs...

I am very critical of my loved ones in ways, and it does hurt people's feelings.
I see it, I realize it, and I know that it sucks...but it is difficult for me not to blurt things out before thinking of how it will hurt someone's feelings. One of those things I might be working on for the rest of my life.

I think that being appreciated (one Virgo trait I can think of) is one way that my heart is touched.

If I go out of my way to do something for my loved ones, or do work around the house, or whatever it is...it makes me feel super happy when they show appreciation, and notice the effort I put into it.

The first part of the Gemini Moon description is right for me - the right (or wrong) words can trigger my emotions unexpectedly. It's hard for me to forget painful words - it's an unexpected underlying sensitivity that only a few ever find, because I rarely let on that they've struck a nerve. Words don't slide off my back as easily as I wish they would.

The Aries Moon (since my Moon is conjunct my Mars) and Cancer Moon (since I have a 4th house Moon) were spot on for me. I get emotional about defending the underdog, about my country, patriotism, family values, core values, etc. I'm happiest when I see (or have) a fighting spirit or a cause to fight for, in the face of adversity. Overcoming all odds and doing well when everyone thinks you'll fail, kind of deal.

Also, with a 4th house moon, I always feel like I need a hug, even though I would be mortified if I ever came right out and asked for one.

Thanks for posting these, Faith.

I relate to Taurus M. in a sense that being around someone's good aura or a good, nice, friendly atmosphere in general can do me a world of good. It makes me open up and unlock my emotions.

Scorpio M. is also something I see in me (Moon opp. Pluto): The lack of depth can make me really, really furious. I might get very opinionated if I don't get a response, opinion, anything from someone around me, it's almost like I am doing it for the revenge... This confuses me a lot sometimes.

I like the descriptions a lot.

(I edited off a quote.)

I have Moon conj. Mars as well, so to a certain extend Aries M. description fits me, too.

At school as a kid my PE teacher was wondering out loud, how I am so supportive of my team, when playing team sports. I get excited when I can support and give praise. Rooting for "my team" or rooting for the underdog in general makes my emotions come out. I'm going to cry this summer in the European Championships of football/soccer, when the "countries you've never heard of" lose to the expected winners. It happens.

Fighting spirit, overcoming the odds, yes. These make me emotional.

My best friend has an Aqua moon and she was my main study for what I said. She is realistic, keeps people's rhythms in her head, and it's like she can tell how everything will or will not harmonize...and she is really good at figuring out how to "conduct" a situation so it plays out according to the master plan. Her parties are amazing, because of that. She should be a wedding planner.

And I see other Aqua moons doing the same kind of thing, noticing and engaging with patterns. Any break from the usual pattern can be annoying...they don't like randomness...with their finger on Uranus' pulse they usually know or can sense what the surprises actually mean. There's a difference between lightning bolts and chaos. They like the former and punish the latter. LOL

Take me with a pile of salt, of course!

Brilliantly put, Faith! You *get* us. Especially about the 'lightning bolts' vs chaos. One 'trivial' example is movie plots. I get into a lot of debates about those. The director is sometimes not true to his own vision, you know what I mean?
Like your friend, I enjoy conducting events too (at my office), and folks love 'em.

And of course, you can put my comment wherever you want.. It's all yours...you 'triggered' it, after all.

P.S. I have a Pallas-Merc conjunction, so maybe that also feeds into the 'pattern recognition' vibe.

Not trying to derail the thread, just contemplating.

I'm still trying to figure out what moves my Virgo Moon, ha.

If chiron is the ruler of virgo as some have said, it may be that strong compassion is part of the make up of the sign.
I suspect that "integrity" is something that may move a virgo moon. virgo symbolism convey the message "not for sale". There is a need to be loyal to inner values. I assume that honesty, humility, true spouse values (walking the talk), industrious in times of crisis (someone able to keep going with daily duties in spite of the world falling in pieces) may move virgo. anything fake or flamboyant may trigger criticism instead. if you have read Jane Eyre or Villete by the same author, I would assume a virgo moon would admire that caracter. my guess!!!

Oh no. I am not looking forward to this. I have only the said Moon transit going on, and already, in just the past couple of weeks since it started, I've started to feel a lack of interest in people. Usually I am very interested in all kinds of people, I love everyone and everyone's so called weaknesses, but now I'm like... I don't give a crap about you or you or you. Will this last for the next two years and more?! Sheesh!

I don't think so. I gave a crap - too much so, at first. But I developed that attitude after having too much trouble with others. Not when I was younger, but a few years ago, and since then. Like, "I can't handle this anymore. I can't be on the receiving end of this and survive." I still feel that way, but Saturn and the progressed Moon seem to follow each other in my chart.

My guesses:

Gemini moons are profoundly affected by words and all manner of expression. The right word (exactly) for the mood and situation, a gesture that is perfectly on point with how they are thinking...that will elicit their emotions. They love having a "twin," someone they can say jinx with, be psychic with, understand on other levels. And also, allowing silence when the time calls for silence. Moving in tandem with someone else makes them happy.

I am not sure that I get what you mean about the words, although I read the comments below, but the twin thing etc totally fits for my brother!!! Yes, they love having someone to jinx, hahahaha

Interesting. I am emotionally invested (Pisces, Cancer) very easily, and now when I quite suddenly feel like I can't have it like that (anymore to that extend without getting the same sort of investment back!?), I start to miss it. Thank you for the insight on this!

Virgo moon - any practical gesture of love, or people who's actions are louder than words. People who are straightforward and honest. People who dont play games but actually are just sincere with their actions.

Hard to say though, I have Pluto happening in my chart.

Well, it's all a bit confusing now. I wrote those descriptions quickly, in a lighthearted mood, kind of whimsical, not expecting them to be taken seriously.

But since Mercury is Rx, I guess I was confusing, so now I should go back and clarify. Which looks like I'm taking everything seriously.

By "order" with Virgo moons, I honestly meant any kind of order. I wasn't really thinking of housekeeping. Astrological order, order in the court, things being where they belong...that kind of thing.

And when I said they find the weak spots, I just think they are compassionate, can sense where people might feel vulnerable, and will try and strengthen that. And with other Virgo moons I've known, they are outright healers, counselors, and so on.

Anything people wanted to say. I tend to cry at positive things more than negative, so that's where my focus was.

Re: "jinx"

It's just an expression people use over here, when they say the same thing at the same time.

My Gemini moon daughter speaks in unison with her brother all the time and loves saying "jinx."

She is also astrologically very similar to her best friend and usually speaks of herself and her best friend in the same sentence (young teenager phase.)

Not saying Gem Moons can't stand apart by themselves, but I think they really appreciate having one special person to bounce ideas back and forth with. And I think Gem moon/Gem moon synastry is exceptionally strong.

Hahaha, mercury retrooo, yes, forgot about that
Yes, I know about jinx, hahahahah, its spot on, my brother loves totally adores feedback in everything he sais and thinks, he wants mental connection with the company he has and sounds similar to your daughter, too!
He is a gem sun and moon!
Yes, order in general, this one I think I got it, but still I think I am not so good with that, yet, I thrive in chaossss Probably my SN in 12th vs. NN in 6th is the reason, I have to evolve this way eventually

Maybe I forgot something to add on your comments, lol!

ETA : oh yes, I remembered, what I wanted to add as an answer to your OP..I am triggered emotionally by injustice and unfairness, disrespectful and rude people, I catch myself even supporting underdogs or outsiders etc. Lol, I dont have the inspiration today to comment more on that, I forgot the exact words that I thought about yesterday night
