I wonder about this as well, but I've never really been able to find a good explanation of what it means exactly.

I have interceptions in my chart as well, including my H2/H8, where my Sun and Moon are.

I am not certain I caught that. Capricorn is fully intercepted with Aquarius on the 5th house cusp?

My 3rd house has Cancer intercepted, with Gemini on the 3rd house cusp and Leo on the cusp of the 4th

Conversely, Capricorn is fully intercepted with Sag on the 9th house cusp and Aquarius on the cusp of the 10th.

I thought you would say something like "my 5th house is fully intercepted with Aquarius on the 5th house . But Capricorn is on the 5th house cusp" etc.

According to what I read, intercepted houses are depended on the house system one uses.

So for an equal house system for instance, no sign would be "interrupted" by being boxed in by two adjacent signs.

According to Noel Tyl;" I must suggest that interception is a reflection of geography and perspective, not character or behavioral aptitude.

The gypsy in us wants to feel hindrance or incarceration of some kind.

Interception simply makes a House larger, absorbing transits and Arcs for a longer period of time than normal; and this may emphasize placements in/significance of intercepted Houses and thereby affect personal development."[/B]

The 4th-10th house interception relates to important experiences in early life/family that lead one to craft a worldly identity and aspirations from it. Sun in 10th would emphasize that house in an aspirational, even goal-oriented manner.

The most important thing is to determine:

(1) if in fact you are Virgo rising http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/#virgo ;
(2) you fit the character and qualities of Venus in late Gemini conjunct MC and square this Asc.

If these don't fit then your Asc is not in late Virgo and you don't have an interception of the 4th-10th.

Don't know who did that reading or what program they were using, but no, that is way off.

If you were born 2 July 1979, then your progressed (or solar arc) Sun will be at 15.5° Leo this June. Compare that to natal Venus 25.5° Gemini, and prog Venus almost 11° Leo, and solar arc Venus near 1° Leo. So no version of any of that brings Sun & Venus together.

They made a mistake if you are quoting them correctly. Besides, prog/S.A. Sun coming to natal Venus is no guarantee of marriage. Sun-Venus together have more meanings than that alone. I recommend you get a better astrologer.
