Found of my SO is in fact a Taurus.

It explains alot - his calmness, love of planning and finer things in life. BUT he hates to have emotional talks or talk thimg through. He shut down when I wanted to talk about our future though I know he is thinking and planning.

I am saggie with libra mars and venus so adore communicating.

His actions SHOW me how much he cares but he won't verbally acknowlege it.

Anyone have experience of Taurus male.

That one wasn't much of a talker either(Moon also in Taurus) and I dominated much of the conversation.

I think Taurus would rather "show" than talk about it. Cancer is on Taurus' solar 3rd house of communication. And as you may know that with Cancer, things take a while to open up....

If I look at his actions - I can see he really loves me. He takes wonderful care of me.

But talking seriously? wow, no chance of being clear on that...he shuts down completely.
After our talk, I was left feeling like he had broken up with me! But next day, he held my hand all the way to the airport to stop me crying and told me it was all going to be ok, we will keep talking, he is there for me and we will see each other soon. Him gripping my hand to support and comfort me, told me it was going to be OK.

You might also consider letting go of any chattiness surrounding your future and allow an intuitive understanding to develop. Forcing the issue will be entirely counterproductive. Typically the Taureans goes into defense or even aggression mode if pushed too hard or too long.

Rather, invite him -- once -- to talk about your future together whenever he is ready. Then forget it.

Hello

Exactly what happened when I forced the issue. He shut down, went on defense and pushed me away.

I have let it go now and we are back to chatting each day in writing and all is going better.
