I'm also really curious how Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio differ for a Moon placement.

I have a Scorpio Moon in the 4th so it's a sort of Cancer/Scrorpio emotional blend which makes me extremely sentimental, like an emotional cripple really

Things going great? THEY'RE GOING TO END ONE DAY, BETTER CRY

Things not working out? WHY CAN'T THINGS BE GREAT, LIKE THEY WERE THAT ONE TIME, I KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO END WHY ME

I am all for feeling special

I have my Moon in Cancer in house 3. It opposes Mercury and squares Mars.

I think the Mars-Moon square makes me very touchy. I don't keep many friends around because of my terrible mood swings

LOL
Virgo Moon here volunteers for the support group!
Although I can understand your frustration, I have a lot of Cancer (venus, merc, Dsc, Sun on the cancer/leo cusp) influence, too and I have fallen myself into this trap a lot..
Don't worry, it will pass! Try to avoid negative thinking the best way you can, its a loop, a well (?) from which you can't easily climb into the surface again..sorry for my english, I am not a native speaker apparently
Life is wonderful with its ups and downs, it's just the way it is, believe me, no need to burden yourself with these thoughts!

I love y'all Water Moons (this includes Moon in Water signs and/or Moon in Water houses). My mom has Scorpio Moon in the 4th house as well and she is a sweetheart.

YES PLEASE!

There is not a single water dominant person in my life. Not even people with basic water. I'm not close to any water Sun/Moons and barely know anyone with those placements.

I'm surrounded by cold earth, heedless air and selfish fire.

I am a 6 placement Scorpio stellium. Q___Q

Wow!
My heart goes out to you.

Seriously though, Scorp placements are *glamorous* on the outside, but they're a real torture to have.

Scorpio Moon here. The severe mood swings kill me. It really is true that in your worst moments you literally *drown* in your own emotion to where you can't even articulate it if someone asks you what's wrong or tries to help you. It's this overwhelming feeling of not really believing or trusting in anything because it can all be ripped from you as the OP suggested. It's like people are too damn distracted these days to really care.

Cancer Moon

I love it. It is in it's home, so it is comfortable. We are very intuitive. We are kind, unless you mess with people we love but that is good

Here's a fun thing to do.

Whenever you feel down, think of all the worst things that can happen, the most twisted scenarios. Then you can be happy and relieved when those things don't happen.

Just kidding.

Here's a hug and a kiss >(*o*)<

As an earth moon person myself, I'd like to thank all you water moons because you help water me down a lot. I'm sorry though that sometimes your emotions are just all over the damn place and as an earth person, I can't even help you.

I'm not a water moon but one of my cousins is a Scorpio moon and my god she's insufferable. She's extreme and intense in her emotions. It doesn't help that her sun is Aries. She's very argumentative and always has to have the last say and can't just let things go until she's said what she has to say, otherwise she feels extremely unsettled. She doesn't often know when to identify when a relationship has run its course. I look at her and I wonder how she can contain such extreme emotions but they have affected her health. Of course I have known other people with the same moon and they're not like that, and her moon could be heavily afflicted too, but I think the combination with the Sun can have an effect. I knew a guy who was sun and moon Scorp and I knew he was emotional but he was calmer about it. I guess his sun helps him to control himself better as that is their nature, to put a lid on their boiling interior. Who knows what really went on underneath his surface.

@Vajra

quote:
"I'm a Scorpio. I hate my character!" This must have been the moment I fell in love with him, if one could pinpoint it to one particular moment. He was being serious though.

That's sad...but I think it shows strength to be able to just admit it outright. Also demonstrating self-awareness...because a lot of people hate themselves but never realize that's the root of the trouble.

Sending your watery moon a big, earthy hug Faith.

(I have siblings with water moons and sometimes that helps.)
