Is it important? Where is it in your chart? How do you think this manifests?
I read something like this "... The planet that is the dispositor of a planet is the soul essence of that planet"

I have a Cap Sun and my Saturn is in Aries in the 8th house.
^ This is a "mutual exchange" since the Sun is exalted in Aries, right?

Not exactly. While it is true that the Sun is exalted in Aries, you look to rulers for planetary dispositors. In your case, starting with the Cap Sun, you have Aries Saturn since Cap = Saturn. Now with Aries Saturn, you must look to where Mars is because Aries = Mars.

In my case, I have a final dispositor. Disregarding traditional rulership, the only planet I have in its home sign is Uranus in Aquarius. Therefore, by looking to the connections of these planets, "Mars in Scorp, Pluto in Sag, Jupiter in Pisces, Neptune in Aqua, Uranus in Aqua" Uranus is my final dispositor and has an overall influence on my natal chart.

A case of mutual reception would be Venus in Pisces and Neptune in Taurus, or Mercury in Sag and Jupiter in Gemini.

------------------
Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First
8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus
Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?

I don't understand what the Disposition of the Sun means. I'd like an explanation.

The sign any planet occupies is affected by the planet that rules that sign. This in turn is shaded by what sign that ruling planet is in. When a planet rules the sign another planet is in, we say it “disposes,” or is the dispositor of, that planet. That's why it's important to know which signs a given planet rules.

For example, when Mars is in Taurus, it is heavily affected by Venus, which rules Taurus. That makes the sign Venus occupies important in showing us the backdrop to how Mars in Taurus energies express themselves.

My sun is in Capricorn
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn
My Saturn is in Leo
The sun is the ruler of Leo

That's a mutual reception, when two planets are in the sign of each others' rulers.

I have a 6H sun/12H Saturn. Because of mutual reception it's a bit like having a sun-Saturn conjunction in each house.
