Is it a coincidence that my natal Jupiter is in seventh house, and my boyfriend has his Sun, Mercury and Venus in Sagittarius?

It could be just a coincidence, or it could be that because you have Jupiter in the seventh house of relationships that you will have a tendency to attract Sagittarius influenced peoples. Jupiter also expands whatever it touches, so you may find yourself surrounded by lots of Sagittarians, or the idea of relationships, or both.
