What I've realized about my appearance is that I tend to look a 'bit' different in every picture I take. I may look one way in one picture and different in the next. I sometimes blame my Neptune Conjunct Ascendant and I just wanted to know if it's any other Neptune Rising folks that feel the same. I also "DO" look dreamy and have a soft facial appearance as many people would say about Neptune Conj Ascendant or Neptune in the 1st. I noticed it while I was on Snapchat viewing my own story one day. lol Also, do any of you Neptune Risings use filters before posting your pictures? I know I do.... Wouldn't photo filters be classified as "Neptune-ish"? Haha. IP: Logged

I wanted to add that I have moon conjunct ascendant and I have noticed that exact same situation in myself. There is a kind of fluidity and "changeability" in both those planets -- and when it's influencing the ascendant in such a strong way, it certainly would lend itself to be obvious in some way physically, I believe. Ha! I have Neptune in the first house, along with four other planets, and I don't think I've ever looked the same in two photos. I prefer a moving camera to a still one, and only use filters to portray what I've seen with my eyes. IP: Logged

I think my look can change drastically also in real life, not just pictures. I usually wear my hair down and wear glasses. One day I put it up and did not wear glasses. This guy, who would talk to me a lot and had a crush on me, did not recognize me. I asked him where something was and he looked at me like I was a new person. IP: Logged

Don't know about changeable. Although I have seen some which are so pretty (Libra Asc). She says she is totally not photogenic. And yes my mom is so fluffy and soft. More so now, above 70 than she was when she was younger. Talking about changeable and not recognisable or maybe just changeable. Some people had that with me, Mercury conjunct MC. Always different. But in a very different way than Nep/Asc. Too flighty and not catchable.. I will check if I know more peeps with Nep/Asc. How about a good aspect to the Asc.? I was looking at my instagram earlier and every picture of myself I thought: "who is that? thats not even me..." Sometimes it really freaks me out. I noticed that I tend to daydream ALOT and I couldn't figure out why I feel so much like a pisces sometimes (I have leo sun, aquarius moon, cancer merc, virgo venus, and mars gem) until I took a deeper look into my chart. I actually just started reading into having neptune in the 1st house and it makes sense to contribute my dreamy personality to this. I'm always spacing out/head in the clouds. My imagination just takes me to places I can't explain. I love to escape but it can be a problem especially at work and school. My notebook is filled with drawings and doodles. I also am very secretive, intuitive, enigmatic, moody and mysterious. I notice that people are drawn to me but not in upfront ways. For example: I'll be out in public and I notice that people just stare at me and smile. I really don't like it sometimes. I'm also always reinventing myself and changing my appearance. I don't really know who I am (identity issues). They say this placement could result in an addictive personality (drugs, alcohol.) Maybe so...but I won't get into that. Anyone else relate? IP: Logged

I was told I look like different people when I change my clothing/hair styles. Also I was told I have a kind/happy looking face. I also have been told and notice that body shape is quite feminine. Also neptune aspecting (minor) the asc. And damn yes! I look different in every photo! And i don't even look like myself. I also noticed that a small amount of makeup can change my face 180 degrees! I noticed this a little while back about uranus on the ascendant - interestingly, one of the examples has both neptune and uranus on the ascendant, so is being hit with a double whammy.
