I use that for a lack of a better term to say what I mean.

In other words, what could make you interested in discussing the depths of the human soul; interested in 'studying' people, understanding their motivation to do what they do and knowing how to react to it. Being self-conscious and interested in acquiring an emotional maturity to develop as a whole.

I have been attracted to this for a couple of years now. I don't know of a science that I can stick to that refers to this, sadly.

I natally have Uranus in the 8th. Right now transiting Saturn conjuncts Uranus there. My NN is in the 12th.
As for progressions I have Moon conjunct Mercury and Pluto in the descendant. I don't know if any of these aspects are indicators of that?

moon-mercury pluto

i have this aspect and anything touched by pluto gives that need for depth. read about the aspect and you will see it fits

planets in 8th, but I believe more personal planets. uranus in 8th makes you to focus on 8th subjects because the experience it brings to your life out of the blue are 8th related. however, I know people with uranus in 8th and have no interest in going any deep... i suspect that mercury in 8th would also give the same flavor as mercury pluto

Interesting. I have Uranus in Sagittarius in the 8th. And the cusp of my 8th and 9th houses are in Sagittarius. I have Aquarius in the cusp of the 11th.

I see, thanks nordic soul. The progression could help, since I've been more interested in this as time has passed. Not usually as a kid or teen.
