IC actually tends to deal with appearance as well. But I never went along with the whole "guess" my sign thing. We all embody the 12 houses in different ways.

10th house is how you affect the world around you beginning with the roots located in your 4th house or natural self..

1st/7th houses deal with the experiences and circumstances you face in your life/world..

While the 4th and 10th houses deal with your core being and personal nature.

I was on the south side: Ålesund, Bergen, Trondheim, Lyngdal, Kristiansand and Oslo. Next time I want to do the north side. Lofoten and Tromsø. Effing beautiful country, and I liked the people.

I have Aries there and this is how they describe Arieses looks

quote:
When trying to spot the distinguishing physical characteristics of Aries, you should begin with the body part that Aries rules. In this case, that would be the head. Aries' head is usually quite prominent, either because the native walks with his or her head slightly forward or because the structure of the face is finely formed and distinctive. Sometimes it's a combination of both.

The hair on the head is usually quite thick, and many Aries men tend to keep all or most their hair well into advanced age. In fact, many Aries have a traditional widow's peak.

Additionally, the hair might have a slight reddish cast to it, a trait that shines particularly when Aries is in the sun.

I do have a prominent face, strong cheekbones,''roman nose'' , strong jaw...but that could also be my Leo Asc so i dont know
quote:
The Facial Features
Another distinctive Arian trait is the sign's eyebrows. Their eyebrows tend to be quite thick on the males of the sign, while females typically enjoy a sharp brow arch. The eyes are usually sharp, alert and often almond shaped.

Traveling a bit further down the face you'll find that Aries' nose is typically distinctive and even occasionally large or prominent on the face. If you ask the native, the odds are extremely good that the nose has actually been broken a time or two.

Further, Aries' lips are typically quite sensual with a lower lip full. The top lip, while well-curved, is usually much thinner in appearance.

I dont have bushy eyebrows,i think they are quite ''rare'' but my sister does...so ..
[/quote]
Lol my nose is big and distinctive ,and yes broken xD

My lips are ''doll'' ones, they are not wide, and upper lip is full but the ends of it are thinn is this makes any sense

quote:
Aries tends to enjoy very robust health, but she does often suffer form fevers, skin rashes and insect bites. In fact, Aries has very sensitive skin, so she should be very careful to avoid harsh chemicals while keeping a close eye on allergic reactions to both food and products.

I do have skin rash on humidity and dust

That's the way it typically is . I live in Australia, and people who visit Australia see more cities than I have.

Jeg synes at det ikke er lett å lære norsk, særlig når det finnes tusenvis av dialekter . Og jeg koste meg veldig i Oslo. Jeg er forelsket i denne byen. Og tusen takk! Jeg er Australsk .

I use the Placidus system. Equal doesn't seem right to me because I think it removes the essential ingredient behind why the houses aren't always split evenly.

Lilith conjuncts my cancer MC and I do actually think I tend to look Lilith-like.
But could be my scorp ASC

I just had my chart rectified!
So I'm Virgo asc, sag IC, Pisces dsc, and Gemini mc.

As if I needed to be any more Virgo. (Or even more mutable!) Ha! So that makes four things in Virgo.

I have Sag MC with Moon/Mars opposite, Venus square, Jupiter and Chiron trine.

I definitely look like a Virgo Sun/Gemini Moon.

I believe this theory holds some water...

I have Leo MC and I have nothing else in Leo....nothing in my 10th...but my hair is something people always notice most about me. I have also been told many times that I look like a cat.

I don't think MC shows appearance, it gives us a vibe of the sign that sits up there and is the way we go out for things, the way we "hunt" and work. I have a Pisces AC and a Saggitarius MC. I have a strong energy of Jupiter in me, but it's double due to AC and MC. I always loved traveling, working alone and feeling free. Years ago I worked as an artist too. No way it has to do with appearance. AC is responsible for that.

No, there's nothing Taurus about me, physically (or really anywhere else). But then, my H10 is empty, although my Moon and Vertex are trine my MC.

I'm often told I look "earthy" by LL people, but it's usually Virgo/Cap influences they notice, which describes my H2 Virgo Moon, and my H6 Cap Mars.

My Sun sign can also show through sometimes, in the mix.

Not the sign by itself. There must be a factor aligned with the MC, and preferably also the Asc. In your case, there is no alignment of any factor in Cancer over/at your MC -- unless your Asc is in mid/late Virgo, in which case Moon could be parallel MC in our chart, but its not Cancer, but the Moon that matters there, because Gemini would be over the MC.

The Asc/1st house = face, body, personality presentation. Subjective anecdotes based on secondhand perceptions and sign-based thinking don't change this.

The Midheaven and the sign over it never overrides this principle, and especially never overrides other planetary factors more closely associated with any chart's given Asc/1st house. What is most often the case when there is confusion or uncertainty about one's astrological correlates to body/personality is that the planets aligned with the Asc/Moon/Sun that are most strongly involved are hidden from view -- in declination. Flat wheel

charts do not tell the whole story any more than a flat earth map could tell the story of our globe.

However, if there is a planetary aspect with the MC of a correctly set, precisely accurate chart it can also add to qualities associated with a person's body and outward personality. For example, my ruddy complexion, reddish hair, and irritable nervous system seen against my chart's Mars
parallel MC in Gemini. This aspect is closer than any other strong aspect to my Asc, but Asc widely conjunct Pluto (orb ~8°) in the 1st cannot be ignored in favor of a Mars-MC explanation.

An empty sign on the MC has no effect detectable outwardly on the body/person. Whatever effects it has will be subtle.

There must be a luminary or planetary body aligned with the MC in declination or longitude for it to become a significant body/personality shaping factor, and the effect is most pronounced and physically marked if such a planet/luminary is also square the Asc. It takes strong multiple
factors at MC/10th to override the normal expression and physicality of one's
Asc/1st house. All things being basically equal, the MC is never the explanation for one's physical qualities.

@Kannon - I have Jupiter square my MC and it's the only major aspect my Jupiter makes. Since my MC is in Pisces would it lead to me feeling more Sagittarian / Jupitarian? Sag is my DSC and I really don't relate to Gemini at all, looks wise.

Nope, no one ever picks up my Aquarious (MC, N. node, and Mars)

People pick up on my Gemini Rising, Leo vibes, I have S. node and IC here. Funny how strong it shows to people. People guess I'm a Cancer. I only have Jupiter in Cancer.
People guess Virgo with me a lot too. I have no Virgo in my chart. But my moon and Pluto are in the 6th house.

Yep. I have Neptune Conjunct midheaven and squaring my ASC. I look very Neptunian, but I also have a stellium in Pisces so...

Anyway I have a theory:

ASC- First impression, influences bone structure, hair, etc

I/C- Our personality influencing the way we look

(Mine is in Cancer. I've been told I have those "motherly" qualities)

DESC- The way you WANT to look

(Mine is in Libra and I strive to obtain the soft, romantic venusian look)

Midheaven- The way we look to the world through workplace, social media, etc
