Not necessarily. I do like to hear good things about myself, but I don't act like a Lion very much. I'm very Aquarian, which is weird considering my Uranus score. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. At least you noticed your mistake! Sun: 38 (6) Moon: 35 (7) Mercury: 27 (9) Venus: 50 (3) Mars: 62 (1) Jupiter: 33 (8) Saturn: 48 (4) Uranus: 50 (3) Neptune: 52 (2) Pluto: 41 (5) How do people have such high numbers? Although Mars is ranked first on the list, I feel Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune more than Mars. Heck, if I were to rank the planets in reference to how strongly I feel them, Mars may be dead last. The test should weigh tight minor aspects more heavily as they may be felt more strongly than a wide major aspect. IP: Logged |

@CupofDavid those are good points! Though I would argue against ranking planetary influence based on personal perception due to the idea of personal deception; what we may feel may not be what is actually happening. I constantly ask others how they perceive me and it honestly is much different than how I feel on a personal level, so I would be sure to work with that! Also, you do have a point with the minor and major aspects, but perhaps it is because a minor aspect is not placed in a higher ranking of importance compared to a major aspect. What was most surprising is that she considered sextiles to be minor aspects, which is strange indeed. Had they been considered major aspects, my scores would be greatly altered. We could play and test certain theories to see how they work and which ones work best ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. @Electro DGX: You are so right about our perceptions not always correlating to reality -- great point! quote: Originally posted by Electro DGX: Also, you do have a point with the minor and major aspects, but perhaps it is because a minor aspect is not placed in a higher ranking of importance compared to a major aspect.
I understand. I am inclined to believe that tight minor aspects are just as important as, if not more important than, wide major aspects. When I interpret my chart, I look to aspects like Neptune Semi-Sextile Sun (0°24) and Neptune Semi-Square Moon (0°29) before aspects like Mars Opposite Pluto (8°20) and Mars Square Mercury (8°45) because the tighter the orb, the more concentrated the energy.
