What was your First Saturn Return like and how long did it last? Did any eventful changes happen in your life? Which house is your Saturn in? Also, what can my cousin expect/look forward to from his Saturn Return if he has natal Saturn/Uranus conjunction in the 9th/10th house? Saturn: 21'27 Uranus: 26'43 IP: Logged |

It sounds like your cousin has Uranus and Saturn in Sagittarius, which means his Saturn return should already have started and he should already be seeing some effects. This website here provides very useful information about Saturn return. Some of the stuff they cover is about not only what house Saturn resides in but also the houses that Saturn rules too. They use the traditional rulership method to determine the houses that Saturn rules. Traditional rulership dictates that Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius, so whichever house cusps these two signs sit on are the ones considered to be affected by Saturn, along with the house Saturn lives in. So that's potentially up to three houses that'll be activated during a person's Saturn return, unless Saturn is in either Capricorn or Aquarius, in which case it could be only two houses. So if your cousin's Saturn is in the 9th (10th?) house, then I'm guessing that Saturn will be particularly affecting issues in his 9th, 10th and 11th houses (I haven't seen his chart so it's not quite clear what cusps Cap and Aqua are on), so he'll be dealing with issues potentially related to those houses. So if Saturn is in the 9th house, he might suddenly want to go back to studying or do extensive travelling. If Saturn is also controlling the 10th house, your cousin's career may be affected in some way. Maybe he'll want to completely change his vocation or he'll start shining in his career suddenly or he might suffer a terrible job loss etc etc. The interesting thing here is the 9th and 10th houses potentially being affected by Saturn in your cousin's chart. Your cousin may go back to studying (9th house) to completely revamp his career (10th) so they could go hand in hand. If his 11th house is concerned, then your cousin might start feeling the need to reevaluate his friendships and decide who's worth keeping and who he needs to get rid of. He might engage in some causes that he has been passionate about for a while but just didn't get around to doing maybe. Another thing they have mentioned to take into account is whether the chart is a diurnal chart or a nocturnal chart. It's something that not many people consider because it's relatively recently been reintroduced into astrology, and apparently it's quite significant. So you have a day (diurnal) chart if the sun is above the horizon (above the ascendant/descendant lines. ie. in houses 7-12) and it's a night (nocturnal) chart if it sits below the horizon (ie. in houses 1 to 6). Because Saturn is considered a diurnal planet, generally speaking Saturn will be more positive or constructive for day charts during the Saturn return and more negative or destructive for night charts during Saturn return. It's not always the case and there are other factors that could counteract that (ie. make a day chart negative or a night chart positive), but generally speaking it's said that rule seems to stick. So it's also important to know where your cousin's Sun sits. There is a lot more, so this website is something worth reading. As for the Saturn/Uranus conjunction and what to expect in the Saturn return, I'm not too sure about what could be the case, but maybe your cousin may want to strut out and be his own boss (which might tie in with a career, like starting his own business, who knows), but I've read somewhere that transit Saturn passing over this type of conjunct can make someone more law and orderly. I'm smack-bang in the middle of my Saturn return, and so far it's treated me very well, and there are a LOT of things I have done that I wasn't doing just a mere 2 years earlier. What's interesting about my case is that when things started changing for me, I hadn't even learned about Saturn return yet. Suddenly I just felt a huge change in me internally and I just instinctively felt that I had to harness this change for the better. Why it's significant is because, since I hadn't known about it yet, I can't blame it on confirmation bias or the placebo effect. It shows to me that Saturn return is indeed real. IP: Logged |

Going through mine now.I have a Saturn/Mars/Uranus conjunction in the 9th house. Sorry to say for your cousin this has literally been the worst time of my life. -Got pregnant in October -Had falling out with best friend in January -Lost my 23 yr old brother in February -Brothers crazy drug addict ex took his daughter for money -Hired attorneys and now going through ugly and super EXPENSIVE custody battle to get my neice back into the home she grew up in -Mother had stroke in March due to stress of losing my brother and neice -Mother was in car accident on the way to grief counceling -Moved in with parents to help out, and to wait for closing on new house (parents house is a 1 bathroom shared between 3 adults + 1 prego and 4 dogs) -Husband moved to new store at work, works more hours, barely see him -Dog got parvo and nearly died -Pretty much everything that could break broke during mercury retrograde (car, computer, electronics) -closing on house delayed, now unsure if I'll have anything prepared before baby's birth -my own career has deteriorated as I am self employed and have had little time for it (also made worse by Neptune sq Saturn transit since Saturn rules my 10th house) So yeah...ready for the Saturn Return to be over. It would be nice to have some good luck again. But unfortunately Saturn will conjunct my Saturn for the 3rd time in July which is when my baby is due...so ready for him to move on. IP: Logged |

^^^that sounds horrible. I'm so sorry. Do you have many mutable planets?I know someone who went through hers about 2 years back. She has a "night" chart and basically her Saturn return was having an accident that damaged her ankle for 2 years. IP: Logged |

Yes, many mutables Stelliums in both Pisces and Sagittarius. The March eclipses triggered a lot of bad events. I'm hoping the ones coming in September have a more positive effect. Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope she's doing better now.

It was a sorta of a mix of good and bad. All the obstacles in my past are sorta going away.Up until that point it was a real test of nerve, its still is in some ways. But things are moving more towards my way. Everyone who has had disagreed with me about economics/finance/eucation are the ones now facing problems. I will skim the details, I compare it to living in the City and then suddenly being stuck with poorly educated racist hillbillies. @Cancer-Leo. Word of advice please attend a university within TDot or Montreal. Either uOfT or McGill, Ryerson, York, uMontreal. Don't waste your time and money attending the smaller ones in the boondocks or mid sized cities. I assume your use to urban living having lived in 2/3 of the Great Canadian Cities. The third being Vancouver. (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver). Its just not the same if you leave any of the three. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

Thank you! When I looked at his birth chart on CafeAstrology, it said he has Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in the 10th house .. but apparently Saturn is only transiting his 9th house (it's at 0 degrees on the 9th House Cusp). I'm a little confused :$ ------------------ Leo Sun/Mercury Sagittarius Moon Cancer Venus/Mars/Rising "You haven't seen the best of me, I'm still working on my masterpiece"👊😏 IP: Logged |

I'm a bit confused by that too. Unless his 9th house is very narrow? It's hard to say without seeing the chart. IP: Logged |

Saturn is slowly coming to its return in my 1st H. I just have a hunch that 1st H Saturn people natally have a easier time with its return than let's say a 5th H natal Saturn. I could be wrong... But I've eliminated a toxic relationship - 6 months ago, and have been focused on my career in a practical way. The exact return will be Feb 28th 2017 for me. So, stil have over 6 months till its exact at 26 Sag. But considering I'm on a good path - I look forward to it. IP: Logged | |
